It’s kinda funny how watching port webcams is like catnip to us cruisers.... But when I mention port cams to non-cruising friends or family, I’m advised to get a life. 
 

Just for the heck of it, I just went to eBay to see what people are selling the VIFP luggage tags for. I didn’t see any, but there sure are a lot of folks selling those numbered debarkation luggage tags.

Shoot!  I think of all those low number tags that we threw away because we usually carry off our luggage... I could have sold them and paid for a cheers package LOL

So can you really make advanced reservations for a specific time with YTD?
Or is this more like “Call ahead” check-in to get your name on a waiting list before you’re ready to head over to the MDR?

You actually don’t need the Hub app. Just connect your phone or tablet to the ship WiFi and go to this URL:

I also keep them as souvenirs of our trips. 

But most importantly, these have resolved many $20 bets in our family that usually start with  “Hey, we’ve seen this horrible comedian hypnotist before.”

Once you leave the ship, the Hub App is absolutely useless for saving memories. On recent cruises, you were able to download them as a daily PDF file - I hope that’s still possible. 

Frig that... Guys burger first.... then muster checkin...  😁

The infinite loop you're talking about is easily resolved. Clear any Allstate cookies from your browsers history and try to create an account / login again. Be sure to log out once you're done, otherwise you're back in the loop and have to clear their cookies again.

Been there. Done that. Cleared cookies. Used Incognito/private, tried Chrome, Edge, and Safari. 

This is actually a problem that a couple of relatives are currently experiencing. I’ve been using the DW rewards program for years to get Carnival GCs and also have never been a customer. 

Thanks to this thread, I have accumulated enough points that they can probably buy their GC from my acct 🙂

There seems to be an issue if you are not an Allstate policy holder and you try to sign up for Drivewise/rewards. The account doesn’t get create properly and you are stuck with the redirected webpage indefinitely. The app doesn’t help either - no options for rewards/Drivewise.

Good luck getting through to their customer support line and speaking to someone who can fix it…. I guess I understand that non-customers are not really a priority to them….

I hear that the Grand Turk Ministry of Tourism is using these next several months to squeeze 1,000 more "$20-per-use" beach umbrellas between the free green ones and the water. 🤪

They’ll probably keep laundry service perk, but similar to the other changes, you’ll have to lug the laundry yourself way down to deck 00.

You know - so there’s less “touching” of things 🙂

I don’t get it… 

Why do they not want to drop off water, logo gifts, etc to the stateroom? What’s the benefit to anyone with this change?

But then watch what happens... Instead of most chairs reserved with a towel, they’ll be blocked with red tape and a sign forbidding their use in order to maintain social distancing. 😂

I must have had a crappy price for our cabin, because adding the RU1 Cheers package to our existing booking only cost a total of $70 more.

I don’t know how they’d implement it, but do something to eliminate the packed crowding on the stairwells before the gangway is opened at a port.

It seems to be completely inconsistent. Eight weeks ago, I cancelled an excursion paid for with a GC. Still haven’t received the refund.
