  1. And I won't have to deal with them...I'll be having too much fun on this one.
  2. We used to have this problem a few times which is why I don't use an agent anymore. . If you use an agent, then the next cruise is automatically connected onboard unless you expressly tell them you do not want that. They had a form they sent me to transfer from the agent back to RCCL Don't know if that is the case now. But it was never a problem, just a hassle. So now I'm my own agent. LOL
  3. Yeah, since every critical observation you've made has nothing to back it up and you said you wouldn't even cruise her. LMAO
  4. Just finished looking at Matt's pics of the Suite Neighborhood. It is most certainly not full of cheap furniture or deco. It's very modern and much bigger than Wonder's. It has a pool just not with glass nor loungers in the water like Wonders. Totally adequate and very well done.
  5. Matt said on his dot com...and I quote...The 1772 sqft family suite costs over $80,000 and is SOLD OUT FOR ALL OF 2024!
  6. I've heard it all before when Oasis came out...same criticisms, same claims of "I'll never sail that behemoth" Now 6 of them all sailing full, and a seventh now booking! All those naysayers are now sailing the ship they swore would break RCCL! Time will tell. I'll put my money on Icon.
  7. Again, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder: But the whole thing looks uninspiring, sterile, - hardily luxurious/exclusive. Perhaps it's the furniture, colors, textiles... something just isn't right. It almost looks like it was furnished with pieces from Target or Homegoods. To you maybe, not to me. It's subjective. I think it looks Fabulous! And I really don't care where they bought the stuff. And BTW, I have many pieces from Home Goods, one of my favorite shops.
  8. I cruise because I want to be on a ship in the ocean. Not for perks. We are not wealthy by any means but we can afford it. I have always been happy with the product. Certainly nothing RCCL does with a swimming pool will change that.
  9. I would much rather have had Cloud 17 also, but they may still make changes and I'm not worried. I think the first few months of exit questionnaires will help them rethink things. I will certainly let them know my true sentiments. But the other features on this exceptional vessel are more than worth any disappointment I have about this latest development. I don't think Hideaway are is large enough to provide an adult only pool venue, but the bar and lounging areas are pretty appealing. That pool isn't any smaller than the average Oasis sister has in Solarium anyway.
  10. Aquadome is a tradeoff for Surfside not a Solarium. The area behind Aquadome, the Overlook is more a tradeoff for Solarium, just no water, but then Harmony doesn't have that either.
  11. Fortunately for you, there are lots of other ships....enjoy. We'll be on Icon thank you.
  12. Nothing but negativity from certain posters if you get my drift. There are always some. Unfortunately, they make their own angst.
  13. You might hear something, but most of the sound will go out behind the ship down there. But I'm sure there are plenty who'd try real hard to.🙄
  14. And hope someone gets a more detailed view of Hideaway Beach as well. I have my reservations about the beds in Hideaway pool though. Would you pay that price and then have peeps all around you in the pool? hanging in front of your view and such? They may need to rethink that. Also the beds in front of the high rise area. Why wouldn't you want one of the loungers above their heads anyway! Never liked any of those beds...too hard to get in and out of.
  15. Yes I am and will certainly get it no matter where they designate it. Doesn't really matter to me where...and didn't you just say Hideaway is now Adult only...duh. Some people can be extremely rude and presumptuous...never assume. I am perfectly happy with my "selection". And I read the article.
  16. ..supposition and speculation don't hold water. The whole idea is absurd. They have had no trouble enforcing "No children under 16" for many years. Cloud 17 was designed for adults only, I don't see that changing. There is a bar right there and no word sanctioned by RCCL about this speculated "change". As for the Hideaway pool, there isn't room for kids etc. There won't be any kids up there, no attraction to them. They'll either be at the slides or Surfside. As for a Solarium, it looks like the Overlook area is meant to take that place and children certainly would not want to frequent that area even without a pool. Not worried at all. And again, lots of critical glass half empty folks around and they haven't even been on the ship...sheeeeesh.
  17. Isn't it incredible how the negative Nellies and Debbi Downers turn out in force.....🥱
