Sailed this ship in a Forward Suite.

While is considered a HAVEN suite it is separate from the Haven "PROPER" area.  We actually dd a cabin crawl during this trip and had the chance to see a few different Haven suites.

By far our group thought that the Forward Suites are the best bargain for the buck.  They are huge, with a massive bathroom.  You get a window out front and a balcony on the side (although this is a small balcony for sure but more than big enough for 2 people easily)

You still get access to all the Haven proper areas.

If you don't mind the walk i highly recommend it.  Big savings.

This is the other cabin category we are considering, how is the walk to the Haven? Which deck were you on?

We were in a courtyard suite on deck 17. Great suite and in a GREAT location…just a few steps away from the courtyard and the bar! As others have said…deck 17 does have a much larger balcony. Our neighbors had requested loungers for their balcony on embarkation day and they were delivered that same day. We were fine with just a table and chairs. Check out my video. I think you'll find that it gives a really great perspective on the cabin and the balcony!

Thanks for posting my DM and I are planning my50th bday cruise and are considering the Haven Courtyard. Glad to view such a great video.

You will have a wonderful time on Panorama. The water in cans served in the bars is from Italy. It is San Benedetto in 11.5 ounce pop-top cans. It is artesian spring water. There is scant difference in taste between it and the plastic bottled water in the rooms.

I am just diving in to this thread, I LOVE water it is my favorite drink so I will definitely be giving it a try thanks for sharing Moviela!

We’re hoping to sail on her in 2022.  As we are older we are waiting for a vaccine before we cruise again.  It’s much too risky for us ( hubby has heart disease). We sailed on POA in 2016 and had a marvelous time.  Fingers crossed for another Hawaiian Cruise.

Completely understand Janice2348 hopefully sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed as well that we will all enjoy safely cruising again shortly.

POA's last dry dock was Feb-March 2016 in San Francisco. We were on her when she sailed back to Hawaii.

Thank you bluesea777, I remember that dry dock fondly as DM DD and I cruised on the POA in 2017. Tutone56 had mentioned a potential dry dock April or May of 2020 earlier in the thread. I wanted to loop back around in case someone also heard of it. I would love another dry dock right before we sail on her again in 2022. If not we enjoyed ourselves so much and she can stay just the same. If anyone hears of a dry dock in the near future please let us know. Happy cruising!

I keep watching for these to be available for my August cruise....It looks like yours showed available 9 to 10 months out so now I have an idea about when mine should show as a shore excursion.  Like you I am wanting an ocean front villa.  Happy you were able to book one!

TSUMom I read that tip on another thread way back when. They said to say rt looking ten months out and they go fast!

The trundle bed will slide under the regular bed during the day if you want. It's a little lower to the ground also than a regular bed, if it's the same trundle bed carnival has had.

I’m thinking so since the Radiance has been two other ships prior.

Thanks we may try to store if we can get enough of the suitcases in the closet.

If it's truly a trundle not a roll away, its smaller than a regular bed and only a child can sleep in it. I guess a short adult. I've only seen trundle beds on some older ships. I guess this is a hold over. It's not a full sized bed.

Thanks firefly333 for the quick reply. Makes perfect sense. With the smaller size it can be placed sideways in front of that couch.
