You are acting like they just give those small cans away to anyone who asks for them. They're only free if you have a coupon for it.
It wasn't "sold" to the op, they got it for free, therefore the size makes no difference. If they were buying it that would be a different story.

If an item is given to you free how can the size of the item be irrelevant? IT'S FREE! You go to your local pub and the bartender gives you a free beer in a 12 oz glass instead of a pint do you complain that you're being ripped off, I mean come on, really?

How can anyone be 'had' on something that is free? I don't recall anywhere on my drink coupon that stated the size of the drink.

Yes, it is. I will look for veterans (usually wearing a cap or tee shirt naming their branch) while on my cruise and buy them a drink and thank them for their service.

I don't think anyone misunderstood anything. You specifically asked about the gratuities. The grats are not charged/based on how many times your cabin gets service, so no, they are not reduced.
Yes, you can request evening service. Our stewards have asked us which we preferred, morning or evening.

Forgot I had a matched set manicure kit in my purse. Last cruise, the lil girly running the scanner insisted on taking the 1/2” long scissors from me. Just BS. That night they handed me a steak knife at dinner. OMG. Common sense has indeed left the planet!! #annoyedBINGO!!!

You never know what any individual security person will confiscate. I had one take a small mini vise grip that I always carried in case I needed to make simple repairs on my CPAP or luggage. It was less than 3" total. He said I could disable the ship with it.🤣 I said that if I could disable the ship with that tiny tool then the ship wasn't built very well to start with. He was not amused. Oh well.

As I said, we saw scooters at Belize, but they were not having an easy time of it. Never at Grand Cayman.

Our favorite class of ship by far. Easy to navigate to get to areas we would want to go.

Been to both multiple time and never saw a scooter on the tenders at GC, but I have seen them in Belize.

You will not be able to select 10 AM if it is already booked up. You will get a list of available times and you can book the earliest available. You still will not get on the ship much earlier though.

My pvp once told me that if you do a mock booking the cabin you selected will be blocked in the system, even if you never did the final step. They usually come back online a day or two later unless someone else selects it, and then it's blocked again. Just a possibility.

What difference would it have made except to ruin the remaining days of their cruise. Not much they could do about it while out at sea.

When we used to do the drive from NC several years ago, we did as hrhdhd mentioned and stayed in the Pooler area. Usually at the Microtel but have stayed at almost all and they were fine for one night.

I would rather have it like it is than have to pay more for the cruise. I don't use the specialty restaurants, spa, lots of bar drinks, etc. and don't want to be paying more for these and other situations with higher cruise fares. We do the auto tips and extra only for what we use.

As a CPAP user (if that is what you're asking for) for many years and many cruises, I never worry about distilled water on a cruise. The ships water is just fine for that short a period of time. Why pay $5 bucks for a gallon of water when you will toss most of it down the drain at the end of the trip. JMHO
