I really do not see how anyone might prefer the MDR breakfast over the Sabatini's one.
100% agree. There is no comparison. Sounds snobby, but Sabatini's really is a breakfast experience. Nice, quiet, private, tucked out of the way. No din of the large dining room. No mucking about with crowds and wading through the Piazza in the morning. Aft and up to deck 16 -- the opposite direction most of the ship is going. Wake view, personalized service. Did I mention the tray of danishes they bring around?
C'mon, it's a no brainer. No doubt MDR/RC is fine. Sabatini's is objectively better.

Sabatini's 100%. Service is first class, personal, quiet. They come around with a tray of little danishes with your coffee which are just absolutely wonderful.
Just off a 10 day not too long ago. Never set foot in the MDR/Reserve Class for breakfast. Going to miss it next time -- no suite on that one.

Not wifi. Not Medallion. Not cameras. Not lights.
Those are part of the fire detection system. Heat detectors.

From post #88 in your linked thread, looks like @PrincessLuver was correct, less than 19 days.
No doubt things have changed dramatically on board in those 19 days so, best to start a new thread.

Bold prediction from a 6 point deficit. I'll check on you in a little while.

Everyone will tell you to choose Glacier Bay over Endicott Arm / Dawes. And I agree with them. However, Endicott / Dawes is a beautiful fjord experience. If your choice brings you here, you will not be disappointed.

Could be just the angle of the pic but, besides a few games looks like them shelves are a little bare.
The shelf on the wall to the left was full of books. The point was that the library was very much open and available and not "diminished" -- whatever that means -- and a good place to finish off a beer, apparently.

It means they will cut you a check.

Folks suggesting the F line streetcars are, with all due respect, out of their minds. These are commuter cars and more closely resemble a school bus than something designed to whisk away tourists and their luggage. Schlepping your luggage from the terminal, on and off a street car, into and out of BART sounds easy on paper but it is more trouble than its worth for someone on vacation.
Get a taxi or uber from the cruise terminal to the airport. Done.

I wonder if these practices might result in problems should there be a claim against the tour company?
I wonder how likely a successful claim would be against a tour operator in Barbados weighed against the likelihood of actually needing to make one combined with the idea of giving PII over to some rando with an iPad...

Note to self: Make sure I’m not traveling with these people the next time I book a helicopter tour and we are asked our weights by the operator.
🤣🤣🤣
They weigh you.

Each gift card had to be manually given (over the phone) to a Princess rep and it was a pain in the butt. I didn't want my TA to have to try to do a zillion gift cards in one shot.
You can make payments directly to Princess when your booking is owned by a TA?

At Marjorie, they will usually spin the ship 2 or 3 times. Having done aft cabins several times to Alaska on the various itineraries, I can tell you I never wanted for a better view.

The Ruby is already showing Christmas movies. Home Alone 1&2, Christmas with the Kranks, A Christmas Story. No doubt more to come.
Also Ice Spiders. Arguably the best Christmas movie of all time.

Forgive my ignorance, what is MUTS?
Movies Under The Stars.
Large screen on the lido deck where movies and other video content are shown regularly throughout the voyage. Usually movies at night. Football and other sports during the day, concert videos, etc.

Dress for the Olive Garden or Red Lobster.

Someone needs to explain to Princess what "chef's table" means. Because now it sounds like paying more to eat at the MDR.

. Keep in mind that you would either need to be the first in or choose 60-90 minutes for next "seating". I have arrived at 5:30 and, depending on port days, may not have to wait.
Same as the others. If you are saying that you might have to wait like this with Reserve Class then that just isn't true. I've done Club Class then Reserve Class several times. No wait, ever, beyond the minute it takes the host to return to the entrance.
In fact, it appeared to me, but I do not know for certain, that the RC section could accommodate the entire Reserve Class passenger set. It is the same people, at the same tables (or close by) every night.
RC dining is one of the best perks of RC. No wait whatsoever.

In my experience, they ding the package twice for doubles.
There has never come a time when I needed to go back to the well twice in five minutes, but I have ordered beer and a shot and received them together. I've never heard of a 5 minute limit.

You'll probably see it in the next day or two. They really do cut it this close.
What are these?
