    Curacao has beautiful beaches. Grand Turk has 1st class snorkeling.

    Interesting. I think there is a market - look at all the cruises booked with only 5% max unvaxxed (kids).

    Pent up demand is the only tail wind the cruise lines have going for them. Fuel prices, Covid shenanigans, crew issues, supply issues, inflation in general are some of the headwinds. Decreases in disposable income directly counter the pent-up demand. A lot of folks are having to make hard choices right now.

    I have a difficult time trying to fathom the logic in insisting on bottomless drinks while lamenting the costs, insofar as to having to plan my vacation around drinking. Just go have fun. - Zero Sympathy Team

    Not an expert but ships burn a heavier fuel, and like a chimney you can get soot buildup and a chimney fire. So my guess is a buildup of soot that eventually caught fire. [Soot is partially burned fuel].

    Some of us love to go on cruise vacations because we want to get away from our.....phones.👀
