  1. You won't actually see the discount itself - when you go to the booking page, the fares will be reduced from the previous page. For example, if a balcony is $999pp, then on the booking page, you will see the fares for roughly $750pp instead.
  2. I am embarking on June 11 and our sailing appears to be fully booked.
  3. I discovered one of our pre-booked excursions was cancelled when I saw the refund on my credit card statement! My guess is they will refund you in the same way you paid (i.e. refund in form of OBC if paid with OBC). I can’t speak to the specific timeline of when I received my refund after the excursion was canceled, but it couldn’t have been more than a couple of days.
  4. Is it possible to have a cabin re-fared if prices fall after your final payment? We booked a balcony for $1072pp (exclusive of taxes, port fees, etc.). Today, a balcony in that same area of the ship is listed at $966.
  5. Interesting. I asked Princess chat earlier today if I could get my discount applied to my current booking (even just as non-refundable OBC rather than a true refund) and was denied. I guess my cruise isn't one of the select options.
  6. I just got off the Live Chat on Princess's website. They said they had a "technical issue with the verification" and that the emails would be sent today. The code is not on my account yet. This is really frustrating!
  7. Still no email at 7:15 CST. My fingers are crossed I can at least talk them into honoring some of the would-be discount as OBC for my cruise in two weeks, although I don't have my hopes up.
  8. I've been watching my email (personal and university) all morning with no code yet. I'm disappointed that it doesn't apply to currently booked cruises. We're on the June 11 Western Caribbean itinerary, and I would have waited to book had I known a discount was coming.

  10. This is what confused me too. But, maybe my cruise isn't deemed "eligible." Who knows. Just disappointing as most teachers and staff of K-12 schools and universities have already booked their summer plans!
  11. I received the email promotion today and got verified quickly! Unfortunately, Princess won't apply the discount to my already booked cruise for June, despite the confirmation page stating it would be located in my cruise personalizer. You have to apply by May 30 to receive the promotion on May 31.
