  1. Yes. When we were able to book dining reservations, the type of cuisine was posted for each day. For example, May 13 Lotus,May 16 Asian Panorama, etc. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to always be the case according to others' experiences. However, we had no problems switching dates or times of our reservations while onboard.
  2. We also could see the menu the same way before our cruise on the Sea last month.
  3. Before our cruise last month, the Chefs' Table menus for our cruise were posted when it was time to make dining reservations by clicking on Chefs' Table in MVJ.
  4. On Viking sea last month the shows started at 9:00.
  5. It is included. The barista grinds the beans there and then will make you a regular or specialty coffee. If you'd like a shot of liquor added that is extra unless you have the silver spirits'package!
  6. We had the raisin pistachio bun in the Living Room after Clay mentioned it and it was delicious! We proceeded to go down there almost every morning for at least the coffee-and several more pistachio buns! I also loved the focaccia in the bread basket at Manfredis and the berries with mascarpone at the Restaurant for breakfast. We only waited once about 5 minutes for a table in the Restaurant and were able to reserve one of the speciality restaurants whenever we wanted. At the time, last month, there were 800 on our cruise according to the manager of the restaurants.
  7. We are thinking of booking the British Isles Explorer cruise next year. For those who have done this cruise or have researched it, is there a preference for starting the cruise in London or Bergen? Also do you have a favorite time of year to travel there? I saw that in London Viking docks at either Greenwich or Tilbury. Any preferences as to which port? We are very excited to be planning another cruise!
  8. We also very much liked our recent Viking cruise. It was our first cruise with Viking and we enjoyed every aspect of it except for the testing before, during and to reenter the US. We've been home almost a week and after careful consideration decided not to sign up for another Viking cruise at this time. I also feel they are going after a different demographic from what we are. This is certainly their right and I know some are very happy with this. It does sadden me though
  9. Cruised with Viking Sea last week. The Restaurant reservations are not being used. Just go whenever you like. There were some lines but they moved very quickly since there are so many tables.
  10. Does anyone know what Viking does if you test positive before the cruise? I'm wondering if you get a voucher for a future cruise or if the insurance through Viking reimburses you.
