Happy Friday. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet reports. Sunny and warm here today. Yesterday it was beautiful with highs in the 70s. Sat outside for a bit with Fancy and did some work. Today it is off to the dentist for a routine cleaning. Then later this afternoon I have a meeting and I will then run out and get Chase from the vet. Fiona is back to her normal self of being the queen diva in the house. A most stressful week to say the least. Bon voyage to @Lady Hudson. Thinking of all on the care list. Update on Chase. He is out of surgery and recovering nicely. He will remain in the hospital overnight and I will get him tomorrow. Just need to wait for biopsy results. The vet said that he does have an enlarged heart and we will discuss our plan of action when I get him. He has had a hurt murmur for quite a while. He is an elderly guy but thinks he is much younger as he tends to race around the house. Thank you all for your thoughts and best wishes.

Happy Thursday. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet reports. Expecting mostly sunny and 76 today. We go right from winter to summer. I will have all of the windows open today. Good news! Fiona is eating once again. She cleaned several plates of wet food since last night and this morning. She is much more active and obviously feeling better. Today Chase goes to the vet to have his toe amputated and the mass on the toe will be biopsied. He was not a happy camper since he could not eat breakfast this morning. Such worries about my fur babies. @bennybear, @StLouisCruisers DB, and @Mr. Boston DM, happy birthday. Thinking of all on the care list. Celebrating with all who are celebrating. Happy Wednesday. Thank you for the Daily and Fleet reports. Fiona seems to be feeling a little better. She is on an appetite stimulant. She ate a little on her own last night. She seems more active, wanting to hang out with us in the living room and purring up a storm. I am holding off on force feeding her to see how she does on her own. Keep your fingers crossed that she can get through this. Having my sump pump replaced today. So far, it has been a rather stressful week. I have a facial set for Sunday. Need some time to myself. An update on my Fiona. Waiting for the vet to call me back. She ate a little yesterday after coming home from her vet visit and seemed like she wanted to interact with us. Today, I have spent the entire morning trying to get her to eat. Tried everything including baby food. She just turns away. She has been sleeping in her bed all morning. Hoping the vet can let me know what the next steps should be. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Good Tuesday morning. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet reports. Been up since 5:30 this morning as I needed to get to the lab for so much bloodwork. Couldn't even have a cup of coffee before I left. Working on grading assignments today. Hope to get the bulk of it done today. Expecting warmish temperatures over the next couple of days. At least the wind has died down. It was absolutely crazy driving yesterday trying to avoid the recycling bins and trash cans that had blown into the street. The vet gave her an injection of an antibiotic called Covenia. It is a long-acting cephalosporin.

Thank you for the well wishes. I have an update on Fiona. Thankfully, the worse that I thought it would be is not the case. A little history on Fiona. She came to us as an abandoned tiny little kitten over 10 years ago and blossomed into a large adult (at her heaviest she was 30 pounds). When she last had blood work last year, her blood sugar was high for a cat but not high enough to start insulin and we managed it and her weight with diet. Today, she is down to 22 pounds. Her blood sugar is much lower but a little high and the vet decided not to start insulin. We are switching to a diet to manage diabetes. All her other blood work looks good. Poor little girl does have a urinary tract infection. When they are elderly, you start fearing the worse. She is home now if not a little bit annoyed.

Happy Monday. Thanks for the daily and fleet reports. This time change is not agreeing with me. Cold and very windy. We had a little snow yesterday. Working on assignments today for my classes. Chase will have his surgery on Thursday. Another one of my cats, Fiona, is now not feeling well so hopefully I can get her in to see the vet. No appetite for her and seems lethargic. She's up in years so this is worrisome. Thinking of all on the care list. Celebrating with all who are celebrating. Have a safe and healthy day.

Happy Sunday. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet report. On my lunch break from my last day of EMDR training. This time change has not been kind to me. Very tired.
