Thank you for your post! I didn't realize it was only a few years old. I haven't been to Hollywood Beach in probably 50 years. I expect it's a little different than I remember! 😁 Smart move about raising the prices...I won't mention anything to hubby.... maybe he won't look out the window...

Hello! Has anyone stayed at Margaritaville at Hollywood Beach? We are cruising in January 2023 and the prices were so high for the 17th Street/Las Olas area, that I thought I'd give this a try. It's still pricey but right on the Broadwalk and includes beach chairs and bikes and of course, all things Jimmy Buffett. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've been there. Thanks!

In the USA, everyone has to be on board 90 minutes before sailing (to check passenger manifest). Not sure what the rule is in other countries.

But the final payment is due 3 months or so before sailing. This allows you to apply points you earn after the final payment is due, so you are ahead.

Please help me understand this. You make your final payment but then use credit card points as a reduction to your cruise price? Then you get a credit to your Celebrity credit card? This is brilliant but I'd be worried it wouldn't work. I use my points to reduce the price but once final payment is made, I use them for OBC.

I love your description! I grew up in the Miami area and was in my 20's in the 80's (fun time in so. Florida!!!) and went to law school in Ft. Lauderdale, so I can just picture it!! The good news is that you are cruisin' tomorrow and all will be forgotten. I met you on the November cruise....and am so jealous that you are cruisin' and I'm not! My husband would never let me do a solo cruise because he loves it as much as I do. Have a wonderful time!
