  1. As the person above noted, technically you don't have to. But it's not a bad idea to check at some point during the cruise. I would wait until after a few days so the machines are not busy. Two cruises ago I had linked the card to myself and also my wife. I did check mine on board and all was good. I assumed my wife was also good. When she tried to disembark she got denied, apparently the card didn't link correctly. So ever since then we always check both when we sail just to be safe. Takes about two minutes if no line at machine.
  2. We just got off Seashore out of port canaveral. It says in the MDR that a second entree is $5 extra. Never ordered a second so not sure if Enforced. We had no problem ordering two appetizers.
  3. Made to order omelet station on the Seashore last week. All the way at the back close to door to the outside eating area. They had premade ones on other areas of the buffet
  4. I had this dish last night in the MDR on the Seashore. I found it to be very good. It had one single clam on top, but this appears to be only for presentation. There was plenty of clams mixed up in the sauce, which was very good, pasta cooked perfect. If you have ever eaten linguine in Clam sauce, this is what it is, and except same kind of clams, ie. small pieces if diced or chopped clams.
  5. Final night menu, also final day of cruise,.and still have not meet our room steward
  6. I used an email in the past when sailing with MSC to request a table for 2. When I tried this time I got a reply that they don't handle dining requests. This is the email I used. mscexistingreservations@msccruisesusa.com
  7. Allowed us to take drinks in town tonight on the Seashore, so it may vary by ship. But you can definitely take the wine out of the room
  8. Currently in the Seashore, sailing aurea, wristbands are not free. We purchased them on our last cruise and they where a waste for the most part. Great for opening doors but that's it. 90% of the time when you try to pay for.anything you still have to take out your sea card. Most bars don't have the pad that works with the bands. We didn't purchase them this time. The sea card does come with a hole prepunched in it.
  9. One final thought for the morning. I had read a lot of reviews about the Seashore, and saw at lot about how unfriendly the staff was. We have seen none of this. They all say hello to you as you pass by. All the bar staff have been great, they seem to remember you. Haven't meet a rude staff member yet.
  10. Another side note. We boarded Sunday is it now Tuesday morning and we have yet to meet or see our room steward. Room has been cleaned each day, actually twice yesterday, but still haven't meet him or her yet.
  11. Another note for drink package folks. So we ate the Japanese place last night. The bar here is a premium cocktail bar. So the easy plus will only cover you up to the $10, you then pay the extra. We had wine so we paid an extra $4.00 a glass here. I'm sure the same will apply in butchers cut
  12. Yes you can. On all my other MSC ships you could not take a drink into the shows. But last night I noticed some people had drinks. Not sure if they just got past the check or if the Seashore rules are different. Going to test it tonight
  13. For the drink package folks. First two days the daily drink special is priced at $13. The easy plus covers drinks up to $10. Found it out that the daily special is not covered.
  14. I had heard the same thing, but didn't try it myself, in case it wasn't true.
  15. Sunday night, night 1 MDR menu. Not sure why I can't upload a photo. But it had prime rib, calamari steak and some other stuff. I got the stuffed meatball appetizer, it was good, then shrimp cocktail. I got 10 large shrimp, it was way to much for me. Couldn't believe I got 10, seems like the normal is 4. Then prime rib.
  16. Once you enter building after security they have lines for regular, then another for aurea and diamond. Enter this line and check in. There was no one in the line when we got there, the other line was very long.
  17. The muster involves watching video and calling number from cabin. Then you need to go to your station. We are deck 14 so we had to walk down to deck 7, along with a lot of other people. They scan your card, then you are done. It was a bit of a mess, but we where expecting such, so we where fine with it.
