Thank you cruisemom42. I am also considering Ephesus as we are very interested in history and ruins. In fact, I will be researching what the places looked like back in their glory and will bring the information and pictures with us. We have 4 days in Rome then a cruise through Greece and back to Italy including Naples where we will go to Pompeii. I am noticing that we will be seeing several outdoor ancient theatres. Not sure if more than 3 is too many.

My husband is a huge train enthusiast. We have a stop in Kusadasi and we are wondering if anyone has gone to Camlik Locomotive Museum. Any information would be appreciated. Are any tour operators advertising this? I am not finding very much information. I also think we will be very tired of historical ruins and need something different to do that day. It seems very interesting but getting there is daunting. Our ship will be there 9:00am-6:00pm

I just booked this hotel for 2024. The price is right for us and the location is fantastic. I wrote a preference in the reservation and they contacted me by email to ask a question. We have had several emails back and forth and they seem great to work with. I am looking forward to my stay there.

I booked a hotel for September 2024 in Rome. I researched a lot and found a perfect one. They were one of the few hotels that had a booking calendar that far out. After researching, I went to the hotel's website. They emailed me already about a preference I noted and we have had several emails back and forth. It seems they are great to work with. I have also booked one excursion so far. I am having problems with Naples. Even when I look at other cruises on other dates I can't find anything. I will probably call Carnival about it.
