We did the new years seascape cruise and got some pictures done by the staff photographer. We ended up buying some both digitally and printed. However there is some distortion coming from possibly the lens. Everyone is stretched vertically a bit such that we all look like aliens. Some of the pictures are completely fine, but the majority have this issue. Anyone else have this happen?

I also got off on Jan 2. I did the early departure with taking your own bags. I got in line around 6:45 and was able to use the elevators at that time. We were probably off the ship by 7:45 which was earlier than expected. I don’t know how things would have gone if we waited for our designated time.

Is the 18 and up something they enforce? I was speaking to a customer service representative who told me that it is a recommended age but that my kids (15 and 14) could still use it. I am suspicious of this, because I assume the app would enforce this since it knows their ages. And the customer service reps are often clueless.

The chat feature is for ages 16 and over only? That makes no sense to me. When I sail in December I will have a 15 yo and 14 yo. I guess I will end up having to purchase some kind of internet package to communicate with them.

It was fine because they brought in a portable AC unit. Not sure if they do that on every ship.

I just did Chef's Table on Oasis. It was in a room in the Solarium Bistro. The bistro itself was closed, so it wasn't noisy at all. They had the table completely set, though I am not sure how high-end any of the crystal was.

The 3 days might have something to do with the fact that it looks like antigen/rapid tests are not acceptable for unvaccinated. Ot lists PCR only, which can take a few days.
