Scenic Operations when Rivers too low or high

Are scenic still doing the coach and hotel option or are they positioning ships either side of Passau and moving you from one to the other. Also if the former is the case and you don’t want a coach holiday when you booked a cruise is there the option for cancellation and reimbursement? -
We are in the same situation, trying to get through by phone is impossible and they don’t answer emails!!!! And yes unfortunately it seems to be usual but has got worse in recent times. They have obviously cut back on staff through covid and not replaced. Fortunately we do know that once you get on board the service is excellent

We are due to sail with Scenic in 4 weeks time. I know the mean temperatures will be high but was hoping that sailing through the day should be cool as in the valley and on the river? Also was wondering if the 9 hour round trip to Salamanca is worth it? Thanks
