  1. We too will be on this cruise on Wednesday, then staying on for the 7 night Alaskan.
  2. We were on the cruise that ended up in Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam yesterday. Obviously the late change was not HAL’s fault, and from our experience they tried their best to make alternate arrangements. We had transfers booked to AMS with HAL and they were running coaches to the airport so there was not a problem for us. If anything we got to Schipol earlier than if we had gone from PTA (not a bad thing with the current issues with Schipol). HAL also ran complimentary coaches to PTA for anyone who wanted it, so essentially there would be no difference for anyone, other than a scenic journey from Rotterdam to Amsterdam. These things happen sometimes, and it’s all part of the journey.
  3. I am also on this sailing at the moment, I can confirm there was prime rib in the lido last night, and there is bread pudding available from the “rise” station in the lido - it is very good 👍🏻 However if bread pudding is what your heart desires I would highly recommend the croissant and bread pudding served for breakfast in the main dining hall is head and shoulders above that found in the lido - 100% worth having breakfast there for that dish alone. Make sure you go hungry though as it is a bit of a monster.
  4. We board this ship the same day as you for the 14 night itinerary. Look forward to reading about your experiences 👍🏼
  5. @Kamfish642 my wife and I are also on one of these cruises (Departs this Sunday 10th July). I have spoken to HAL today about the use of the Verifly app for this cruise and the representative seemed a little baffled by my question. They confirmed that there was no pre cruise covid test needed, and said you should be able to bypass this section on the Verifly app. I tried to do this whilst on the phone to HAL and found it could not be done. The rep then placed me on hold for a while, and upon return stated that “you probably can’t use this system for these cruises that are departing with out the need for a covid test”, and that there probably won’t be enough time for them to get any answers before our cruise date to work around this issue. They then stated that we would just have to line up and show our paperwork when boarding. Seems to me like a bit of an oversight on HAL’s behalf when dropping the need for a pre departure covid test for these itineraries. Let’s hope for an easy embarkation with out it on Sunday 😊
  6. Thank you for posting your trip so far, we have an Alaskan trip booked for April next year and this is getting us really excited for it! Looking forward to the next update 😊
  7. We also received this email today as we are on the 14 night cruise departing Amsterdam on the 10th July. I’m just wondering how the Verifly app is going to handle this change as it still has the section for pre-departure covid test results? 🤔
