  1. It's not included in any specialty dining packages. It's categorized similarly to a Chef's Table experience.
  2. Ignore the 10am time. You will be notified of the date and time once onboard. Keep in mind, the dinner is subject to weather. Unfortunately, ours was cancelled. And you may have to inquire about it. The cancellation wasn't made clear to us until we noticed it wasn't on the list of dining reservations they had given us. I hope you get to experience it. It sounds like an amazing experience. 🙂
  3. Adding on to what LB-NJ said about cancellations... Generally speaking, excursions can be cancelled without penalty up to 48 hours before you arrive in said port. So keep checking for cancellations, especially as you get closer to your sailing.
  4. I can't help with the onboard cost, but I do know it's cheaper to purchase multiple devices under 1 passenger instead of single devices under multiple passengers. Example, there are two of you sailing and you each want 2 devices. If you purchase 4 devices for yourself, it will be cheaper than purchasing 2 devices for you and 2 devices for your travel partner. The 4 devices aren't actually linked to you so you can have 2 for yourself and 2 for your fellow traveler. 🙂
  5. Curious about this as well. I noticed it the other day, too. Would love to hear if anyone has done it onboard. If so, what ship?
  6. I have contacted them several times for different requests. I have not found them to be helpful AT ALL. I feel as though they copy and paste their replies. They aren't reading my emails and understanding what I'm asking for. I've also not heard back on several occasions. They've told me stuff isn't possible when it actually is. I've given them several chances, but don't foresee myself booking with them.
  7. Yes! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken. It was full of flavor and not overcooked. Highly recommend.
  8. Of course! Happy to answer any other questions you may have as you continue reading the (very lengthy) thread. 🙂
  9. Here is the email address: info@schipolmeetandassist.com Our escort upon arrival was Regina. She was great so we requested her for our departure as well and we were lucky enough to get her again.
  10. Absolutely! It was one of our favorite activities and we all enjoyed it immensely. I highly recommend it! We painted the plates on June 6th and they were delivered on June 22nd (shipped with the rest of the goodies we purchased at the Delft factory).
  11. So glad I found this thread! We were on the Apex a few months ago and had the exact room. Say hi to Eli and Andika for us! They are awesome! 🙂 Looking forward to your continued posting. Enjoy your sailing!!
  12. Yes, we lucked out with the weather, didn't we? Sunny skies and no rain!! It was PERFECT!! Hope you enjoyed your sailing! 😊
  13. Have not been on the Solstice, but on the Apex we were able to walk up and they seated us immediately, always at a window table. We changed our minds regarding dining several times and were always accommodated. I booked dining through the cruise planner to secure our times. Once the shoreside concierge made contact with the team onboard and confirmed our reservations, she cancelled the reservations I had made through the cruise planner. We didn't have to worry about the surcharge being waived because the reservations were confirmed onboard beforehand. For room service, we did find the menu to be limited and dining in general had odd hours (at least for us). I did a "live from" thread of our experience. We are big foodies, so you will find lots of food deets. I also have room service menu photos. Suites have their own menu, but upper suites do not have a different menu than the rest of the suites. If you have a request, let them know and they will do what they can with the ingredients they have on board. We requested Ethiopian food and they were able to accommodate. 🙂
  14. The weather was definitely a bummer. I understand Celebrity can't control the weather, but they could have communicated the restaurant closures, etc, much more effectively. And too funny-we only noticed a few kids. I'd say maybe 3 total? Thank you for following along! I hope you enjoyed your sailing. 🙂
  15. TIP: If you visit Tivoli and purchase the photo package, make sure you're able to download the photos BEFORE you leave the park! You have to go to a machine and select your photo, then it prints out a QR code for you to access and download the photo. I scanned the code as soon as the machine spit out the paper, but nothing loaded so I tried again a day or two later. Still nothing. I emailed Tivoli and they weren't able to help. They said they do not save the photos for more than a day. I didn't see that publicized anywhere or anything that said to download instantly. So I'm guessing we aren't the only ones who had this issue.
  16. Hmmm...that's a tough question! I'm gonna go with Copenhagen. Kronborg Castle and Tivoli were two big highlights. After that, Visby because of our experience at the sheep farm! My favorite place of the entire trip was Giethoorn in the Netherlands. Not a port stop, but 1.5 hour drive from Amsterdam.
  17. TIP: For AMS Schipol Airport… We were about to throw away our water bottles when security stopped us and told us we didn’t have to. They allow you to bring water! We were shocked! We’ve never experienced this before, so thought it might be new for others, too.
