Ooh of course, I forgot rockstars get early access! I was really just interested if they had much besides the standard resilient shows (Persephone, Another Rose, Mind Mangler, Miss Behave, Lola's Library) e.g. whether they have named the festival stage people or if there are movies being shown? Although I know it's fairly changeable at this stage. Definitely don't spend too long but if they have confirmed either of those that would be awesome! 😊

Well spotted and great news! It was realistically going to be Portsmouth but really nice to have it confirmed. Great move by VV as lots of their market is in the UK.

I suspect they will be announcing the itineries (and a new offer?) on the 'celebration' sailing from Athens this Sunday. They've got both Tom McAlpin and Richard Branson on board so it would be good timing for a PR perspective.

I've done a few sailings sharing a cabin in the twin bed configuration, and I really love virgin's setup compared to other lines. We went head to foot and while it wouldn't work with anyone over 6' in the 'foot' position, if one of you isn't too tall then your heads are much further apart than in traditional twin beds, which feels way more private. Each to their own though!

I went on the valiant Miami mermaiden - the only differences were that we each got a very nice souvenir coin. They also did a mermaid world record attempt at Bimini l, and apparently Branson was on board, but I wasn't involved with either of those! So there may be a bit of extra buzz and you'll probably get a nice trinket, but otherwise not much difference from any other voyage. 😀

I did back in July, the food was OK, some really tasty bits but I didn't like not having a choice of menu as it means your experience of dinner may be great or terrible depending on what kind of food you like! The show was great though, the guy hosting was really excellent at keeping the energy up despite not having the most enthusiastic crowd. It was just a lot of fun. Really looking forward to going again in November, probably my favourite entertainment on VV besides Mr Thing from the English channel sailings.

I've been solo on Valiant Lady and have to say the experience was great - there is a really nice relaxed vibe on the ship that made me feel like I could be me, whether that be meeting lots of new people or just enjoying my own company (slightly in contrast to Princess). There's a ton of comfy nooks around the ship you can hang out in, or a fair number of activities from dodgeball to jigsaw puzzle contests if you want to meet people. There's also the 'Happenings' cast who are about 15 people with different personalities whose job it is to run various activities and generally interact with guests. I'm sure that however you want to spend it you'll have an awesome time 😀
