  1. @coconutmonkey@Mark_T I realize I'm reviving an old thread. I just got off the Beyond and also really enjoyed the Azteca in the World Class Bar. I found the menu (attached) and yes, Mark_T has the the right ingredients. The question now is how do you actually make the drink, even with knowing what ingredients go into it? How much of each ingredient, do you shake it (what parts), muddle it (what parts), etc... Anyone know? Beyond-World-Class-Bar-Menu.pdf
  2. Thanks Alakegirl! I'll try Celebrity and see if I have any luck. Didn't know listing the travel agent was against the rules. I tried to edit after you pointed that out, but it must be too late to edit.
  3. I booked our cruise to the Mediterranean in July directly through Celebrity and paid our down payment. Then I learned (new to cruising) sometimes travel agents can offer additional offers, or onboard credits if the full payment hasn't been completed yet. Prior to completing the full payment, I ended up transferring the booking to a travel agent, so they are technical handling our cruise booking, even though I originally booked directly through Celebrity. The full payment was due (and paid) at the end of March so it has been paid in full now. Last week, I noticed a price drop for our cruise. I called the travel agent to ask for a credit for the price difference. The person I spoke with opened a ticket to issue the credit, but I never heard back. I had to call back a few times to get an update before ultimately speaking with a supervisor that told me once the fare has been paid in full, they aren't able to offer any credits. Has anyone received a refund, credit, or Celebrity On-Board credit after full payment has been made and noticed a price drop? Can a travel agent give a credit, or would that need to go through Celebrity, even if the booking is through a travel agent? Or...is this a lost cause, and something I should let go 🙂 Thanks in advance for any tips!
  4. Is there a standard time online check in opens on the day it's scheduled to? I live in the US (California), but the cruise leaves out of Rome. Would online check in begin at midnight Rome time?
  5. Gotcha. I didn't realize the rooms themselves were actually different. I thought it was only the amenities that came with the room class booked. Thanks for the clarifications.
  6. Thanks for the helpful replies. Unfortunately, We will need connecting rooms so we won't be able to change to the Aqua Class if that would require moving rooms (an not being able to get connecting rooms with Aqua Class). Would there be any chance of Celebrity doing something for us if I were to call? What would I even ask for that would be reasonable? Would it be reasonable to see if they could offer the thermal spa access for us if we can't get connecting rooms with Aqua Class (there is a package you can purchase to get thermal spa access). This is our first cruise so I'm not sure how all this works and the things they can, and might be willing to do. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance!
  7. We're booked in 2 connecting concierge class Infinite Veranda staterooms on a cruise in July, on The Beyond. I just noticed the Aqua Class infinite veranda for our cruise is actually a lower cost than the concierge class. Aren't they both the same room, just with different amenities? The Aqua Class comes with the free access to the thermal spa and access to the Blu restaurant. Is it to be expected that the Aqua Class would be cheaper than the Concierge class? If given the choice between the Aqua Class IV and the Concierge Class IV, wouldn't the obvious choice be the Aqua Class? Am I missing something? We'd like the access to the thermal spa and Blu and would change to the Aqua Class now that it is actually less expensive. The only problem is they do not have any connecting Aqua Class rooms available and we'd like to keep our rooms connecting. Is it possible to keep the two connecting rooms we have now and change them to the Aqua Class with the amenities that come with it? Has anyone done something like this?
  8. Is that a temporary break, or is that her last cruise with the Beyond? We'll be sailing on the Beyond in July. Do you know if she'll be the Captain in July?
  9. Great tips! Thank you all! What is the "Roll Call" for this cruise and how can I find how to join?
  10. Thanks, Trying to decide if booking a specialty dining package is the way to go, given you can't make any reservations until boarding. Do some of the specific specialty dining spots typically book up prior to sailing? Or can you usually get reservations somewhat easily if you book the first day you depart? How much does having a concierge class room help in the dinner and excursion reservation process? Thanks!
  11. Hello all, We're a family of 4 going on our first cruise. Kids are 18 and 20. We're booked on Celebrity Beyond to the Mediterranean (Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece) in July, 2023. We're booked in 2 connecting Concierge Class Infinite Veranda rooms. After looking through posts on this site and some YouTube reviews, I'm not sure I love the infinite veranda concept, but there aren't any rooms with true balconies available unless we would like to pay roughly triple what we're booked for now. Here are some basic questions. I have seen posts that mention some of the good specialty dining restaurants can get booked out prior to boarding. How far in advance would you recommend booking dinners at some of the specialty restaurants? Is there any way to reserve these dinners in advance of boarding and still pay for them with on-board credit (either now, or when we do get on board)? Are the dining ordering options unlimited? Meaning, maybe you'd like two salads, or maybe a couple of us would like an extra main dish to try/share between us. Is that allowed in the included dining? Would that also be allowed in the specialty dining restaurants (after paying the upgrade for those restaurants of course)? Would you also suggest booking Spa treatments in advance, or is the spa typically available for bookings made while on board (which would allow us to pay with OBC) Same questions on shore excursions. Do these sometimes fill up well before boarding? Or is it usually okay to wait and book while on board (and pay with OBC)? Will it help with some of these reservations (specialty restaurants, spa treatments, shore excursions) on-board to have Concierge Class rooms? Or should we still make sure and make them in advance of sailing (even if it means we can't pay for them with OBC)? Anything else you would suggest a family of 4 on a first cruise, heading to the Mediterranean on Beyond should be aware of, or look into further? Thanks in advance for any help!!!
