We booked the catamaran excursion to St. John and snorkeled there. The boat was the Dancing Dolphin and I highly recommend them. The crew was great. Drinks and snacks were great. The ride from St. Thomas to St. John was wonderful. While snorkeling, we saw turtles and rays.

Contact the Dancing Dolphin. We just sailed with them in January. Great catamaran. Great crew. Ours was not a private, it was an excursion, but I'm sure they do private charters. I highly recommend them.

The water taxis are right at port along with the land taxis. They have taxi stands where you purchase tickets. We spent the day diving at St. Kitts, so we didn't use a water taxi, but many people did and it looked very easy with standard prices.

It depends how long you're in port. We did shopping and the catamaran excursion to St. John.

Thanks for sharing. My husband and I are from Cleveland and heading to Coco Cay soon. Hoping to dive, but so far no luck with RC. I also can't seem to find any independent dive shops. Any advice is appreciated. Wet suit necessary for January?

I loved drift diving in Cozumel. We saw a lot of sea life. Our dives in Belize were beautiful, but it was rough weather, so not a fair comparison. Grand Cayman would be #3. I haven't been to Roatan yet.

Is there a dive shop on Coco Cay where we can schedule a dive? Oasis isn't offering a dive excursion. My husband and I are both SSI certified. Thanks in advance for advice.

Our scuba excursion on RC Oasis has been cancelled as was our last scuba excursion with Norwegian. It will definitely decrease our future cruising because we'll have to go to resorts where we can dive. Bummer. Any advice for dive shops in St. Maarten, San Juan, or St. Thomas?
