Finally after almost a month the airline fees were refunded. Still fighting for the transfer fees. Promise you we won't be getting air through the cruise line again!

Update: NCL is making it right, only after I threatened to bring a lawyer in for Credit Card fraud. I purchased a package from them, they contracted with a third party who then cancelled for reasons beyond my control. NCL needed proof that United refunded the airfare. I found the proof (even though they said they couldn't) and they say my CC will be refunded in 1-2 days. I am happy they are making it right, but frustrated that it took so many phone calls and emails to get here. Now, if they would refund the airport transfer fees that would be fantastic....🙄 Continuing the fight!

When United didn't find another seat to the ship, the entire air itinerary was cancelled.

Nope- we drove our own vehicle and paid to park at the Pier. Didn't use either flight or transfer. Thanks!

Hi all! We purchased Air and transfer through NCL. The morning of our flight United cancelled our air travel. Luckily we were close enough to hop in our car and make it to the ship before they left! While we were driving I called NCL, explained the situation and they said to notify the travel insurance to get refunded. We had a great time on the cruise! But now...... Travel insurance says they won't cover "unused travel" it doesn't matter how many times I say it was cancelled. Now NCL won't help me either, they keep telling me to contact the travel insurance. What are my next steps? United refunded the funds to NCL, now NCL won't refund the cancelled part of our trip! Thanks for any advice!

We were on deck 14 midship and could hear the music and fun on deck 8 pools if we were on the balcony. Inside the room was quiet. Pool is more aft than the walkway (second photo)

We wouldn't have noticed anything different if we didn't know what was going on. Only complaint our family had was that the music at Snorkel Park was so loud for the concerts that we heard it in the room on the side of the ship facing the venue. Noise machine drowned out most of the noise!

Ship - Prima Deck - 14 Stateroom # - 14190 Stateroom Category – Family Suite with Master Bedroom Starboard or Port Side - Port Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes! We rarely heard anything from inside. While on balcony could hear the music a people at infinity pool on deck 8, but not loudly. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Some of the dry slide support system runs thru the deck. Slide wasn't a problem for us, we enjoyed watching the people thru the clear section. Even a laugh with them when they got stuck. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - No idea! Was wind a problem? - Depending on direction of wind, the balcony was generally comfortable though. If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Any specific problems with this cabin? - Any other comments? - The perks of the suite category were really nice! Concierge, butler, breakfast and lunch at Cagney's & priority embarking and disembarking.

My teens have the soda package for our upcoming trip. One of them just asked if they could get virgin mixed drinks. I thought I read somewhere that they could, but now I can't find it! Need some ideas too, what is your favorite virgin drink? I love a Shirley Temple! I know if anything I could get them a virgin drink, just wondering if they could handle on their own! Thanks!

Is your cruise still listed on schedule? Port Schedule Bar Harbor voted to limit cruises, but Portland did not.
