Absolutely. There is nothing to say you have to purchase one. If you pay as you go they will just swipe your cruise card and you will get a bill at the end. You can usually keep track that it's correct by looking on your tv each day. The account should be on there

Booked yesterday for spring 2024. Totally unexpected but our son got engaged yesterday and then told us they are getting married on this cruise lol. Well we couldn't not! Have cruised 3x on MSC but never in the Med. Looking forward to it very much
