Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I just got status matched with HHonors (Diamond) to MSC Voyager club Diamond. Took less than 6 hours. We have an MSC Cruise coming up in 14 days out of Cape Canaveral. Is it true that I will not get any perks of the new status on this cruise, since it was booked 6 months ago? Please advise, if any one have any suggestions. Thanks
  2. Hi all, going on our first MSC out of Cape Canaveral cruise in 25 days now, and starting to plan. Have a couple of questions: 1) Is the MDR open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or only for dinner? 2) Seashore has three MDRs. I know the menus are the same, but is there any preference which one is better? 5th Avenue, Central park, Manhattan or Tribeca? Thanks
  3. How are the waiting times at the various bars? Still long wait times as others have described?
  4. I thought it was only "free delivery", but you still have to pay for the food itself. Or am I wrong? On the webpage it says: " Breakfast in stateroom (free delivery)
  5. Nope... Under Check In (logged in), it says: "We are sorry, you can not access to this section. The system recognise you as an underage user." 😆 *Yes including the spelling error 😄 EDIT: Now that I went the other way around, it gives me following message: Error Your cruise does not depart within 20 days
  6. Quick question: How did you get the reservations linked. Were sailing in 43 days, and I don't have the option online. Did you call them? In that case which phone number did you use? Thanks
  7. Hi all, going on a 6 night cruise on Thanksgiving from PT Canaveral to Bahamas and Mexico on Seashore, and have a couple of questions: We are two parties of total 10 people (each in two rooms, so four rooms in total), on two different bookings (or rather four bookings because each room is a separate booking, as I have understood it). - Now we would like to sit together for dinner, how do we choose dining time, and who we can sit together with? I dont see that option in the App. - We have four kids in total, who are going to using the kids club sometimes; do one have to register these beforehand? I know on RC, we had to do it as the first thing after boarding, since the spots get occupied quite fast, is it the same for MSC? - The FUN PASS says unlimited gaming, but then I also read that there is a limit of $150? Thanks!
  8. Greetings,we have every once in a while the possibility to take a last minute cruise, and with that I am thinking of 24-48 hours notice. All the sites I have seen marketed as last minute cruises are 3-12 weeks out, which for me is not a last minute cruise. We live in Tampa, FL so have the opportunity to be at the port in Tampa in 2 hours, or Orlando (Cape Canaveral) in 4 hours notice. So two questions:1) Will the cruise lines advertise some really good deals if there is availability on a ship with very short notice (any of you got some good deals, if so what was it)?2) Where and how would you find these, travel agent, calling the cruise line, or online? All inputs are welcome,thanks...
