Today has been a full day here at the FR&D - I will save my contribution to the family dynamics conversation (🤗 ❤️ to all who shared) for another day and WOW on all the great pictures. Yes, we are getting some rain that should end by 11am. The Houston are certainly doesn't need all that rain - they'll flood, for sure. Beryl is now expected to track north of Memphis.

There is considerable flooding in Matagorda County with early reports that about half the county is without power. There's a video on the weather channel of a travel trailer being blown over. Houston will likely flood. The storm will track north beyond Memphis 🙏 everyone is safe from the possible flooding. The rain we're having is predicted to stop by 11 am. And our high will only be 83°.

Rain started here during the wee hours and continues very lightly but steady. Had some winds as there's all kinds of stuff in the yard. But no damage from either. This is the good part of the storm. I'm off to check on conditions further south by the coast. 🤞🙏

We used something like this: Portable Travel Cooler https://a.co/d/0aWaqJ7g There are different sizes, so you should be able to easily accommodate several ice packs. Have your cabin steward fill it with ice, then put your ice packs in it. They're leakproof, so no mess, and the ice lasts more than a day.

That is a great change if that's what they're doing now for all FE bookings or if there has been some training. All 5 of my trips last year and the 1 I had early this year (Jan) they asked if I gave permission for them to cancel my flights. I explained each time that all I wanted to do was check to see if there was a lower fare and was told they couldn't do it with my current flights in place.

Be aware that if you call Fae to check on rate changes, they will adk your permission to cancel ypur current flights. It seems they cannot (or will not) check for updated prices w/o canceling current flights. So, it us really better to check yourself then simply close out the browser if you want to keep your current flights.

Transferring 📲 stuff from old phone to the new one is a slow go; learning to use it is an even slower experience. Screenshot function is same as on old phone ☎️: volume down & power button together. Challenge is they're now on the same side of the phone directly over/under each other so it's a very awkward unnatural movement. 🤞there's a button shortcut I can assign.🤷‍♀️ Yard guy is supposed to be here this weekend to clean out the front flowerbed so DH can put in the flowers we brought from his mom's house. He didn't show yesterday, not heard from him today.
