  1. If you can afford, I would do it. My kids are older now, but when they were young and would be asleep before us, it was amazing to take a drink out on the balcony. The balcony isn't huge, but it makes the room so much bigger.
  2. Looks like Marty goes on vacation when your cruise starts. The airtable ends there for the Vista, so most likely a replacement is not yet known.
  3. There is a USB-A port on each side of the bed.
  4. Yes, there are steps/ladders at all the slide points we went to on the carnival excursion. Some did look a little difficult to maneuver. When we went, there was an elderly gentleman that went with his family. With some help from the guides, he was able to maneuver down them all.
  5. Both times we have sailed, it has been the Palm. I've heard it can change though, if on a particular cruise more people sign up for set time dining.
  6. Yes, dinner menu is a very full menu with lots of good options at both restaurants. I personally preferred the Chinese options at Chibang vs the Mexican. Dinner is free for one visit to each. A second visit will get $8/per person charged to your account.
  7. The charge for the second visit is fairly new and I believe currently only on the Mardi Gras. You can eat there for free for lunch as often as you want, but only get one free visit for dinner per venue. No reservations, you just select that restaurant in the HUB app when you are requesting a seating time when you are ready for dinner.
  8. The last time we cruised out of Miami, we stayed the night on Ft Lauderdale Beach and then scheduled an uber XL to the port the next morning. Uber XL was 97 plus tip. When researching, SAS transportation was quite popular, but our hotel wasn't eligible.
  9. I think this is the key. My dual voltage stuff all worked. My single voltage conair ceramic curling iron did not.
  10. We were on the Celebration last New Years Eve. New Years Eve was designated as our second formal night and there was a special New Years Eve Menu in the MDR. There were countdown parties in Grand Central and on the Lido Deck. New Years Hats were delivered to our room during that days room cleaning. Free Champagne was handed out prior to Midnight. Overall it was a great experience and would love to do it again!
  11. The MG and Celebration have a few self serv fountain machines where you can swipe your sign and sail card and fill a glass with fountain beverages. On all ships you can request the soda at a bar or dining room, but I believe most will give you a can.
  12. If you can see all their booking information when you log in now, you will be able to check them in while logged into your account.
  13. We did the falls last summer and jumping wasn't allowed. Instead we slid down the rocks into the water below. If you didn't want to slide there were ladders/stairs you could use. I assume it's a Carnival Liability issue, because there were other non-cruise groups that were using the jumping platform.
