Disney and Carnival have them. Perhaps not in RCCL.

Thanks again. You're thinking like I am. I've been trying to compare the cost differences for those cruise lines that offer the 1.5 bath scenario against getting two cabins. Those where you have to go up to "suite" level pricing you can sometimes find two cabins for cheaper, although sometimes that means interior cabins. I am particularly interested where the 1.5 bath scenario means two showers.

Does RCCL have NON-SUITE staterooms that have split bathrooms? If so, any tips on what room code or ships? I like this feature for a family of four if obtainable without buying a suite. Carnival has this (selectively) so just want to know if RCCL does too and if so how to find them.

Thanks for all the responses and the tip from BlerkOne and others to search for the word "Deluxe." I've found that going through the deck plans on cruisedeckplans.com is helpful in this regard. I'm particularly interested when these staterooms aren't "suites" and thus are more affordable. I looked through a couple of ships and found Carnival Magic (6N/M/L) and Vista (6M/L). Mardi Gras and Celebration both require the FH Deluxe Suite (FP) category to get these, unfortunately.

For example, does family harbor ocean view cabin guarantee that it has the split bathroom? For some reason the online marketing materials don't seem to mention it. It's a feature we are looking for. Asking primarily about staterooms, not suites. Also wondering which ships have them.

I originally favored weekly itineraries that didn't have three days at sea for this reason, but given ninjacat123's good point, the captain might be less hurried with more sea days and perhaps that will help. Rich: Wow, lots of experience already on these ships! Do you favor one of these ships more than the other (for any reasons in particular)? I have a 14 yo and a 19 yo - Holland America's offerings are less expensive but I know my 14 yo would prefer the activities on Celebration.

What has been the observed experience so far of Carnival's Excel class (Mardi Gras and Celebration) in terms of stability at sea? Better than other ships their size? Same? Worse? Also interested in hearing how these large ships compare to the mid-size (or smaller) vessels. My DW loves vacationing and cruising but gets nervous with swaying. Thanks for any feedback here.
