We are now using Cunard for our world cruises which we define ad 100+ days. Having done a few shorter 35 days in Britannia club and now in the Britannia club on Queen Mary 2, world cruise, we are going to down grade to open dining on Queen Anne for our 2025 and 2026 world cruises in Britannia. Yes I will miss cabin 13030 on qm2, it had a private helicopter pad which is not used by many passengers at 8.00 in the mornings. The cabins as far as I can seen are virtually identical, the only different seems to be that I will need to collect fresh water ourselves, instead of our Steward delivering them.

March 5th , 1 PM GMT is the date and time for Cunard world cruises release for Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne. Passengers on board the 2024 world cruise also have the routing and booking forms, released this evening. We will take a look at Queen Anne 2006 which will start and finish in Hamburg, Germany.

I asked on board the QM2 yesterday , the world cruise host about the schedule for Queen Anne world cruise 2026 and she said we will get the announcement late February or early March.

I can confirm Crystal New will indeed accept your Crystal old data and will apply the cost reduction for having cruised with Crystal Old. It seems Crystal New have all the details of our previous Crystal cruises and more.

I am based or live in Germany and to answer your question, we have not had any communication from Moecker since 2021🤣 . I hope the first non USA ,Canada/ Mexico will post. I trust in the process but Moecker could publish some tracking processing data. ie xxx claims, yyy funds transferred.

We are back on Oceania Marina for the 4th time this year. Previously enjoying O-life flexibility, now cruising with Simply More On the alcohol, ie. drinks, they offer Champagne, a selection of wines and also beers. These are available for lunch and dinner. Not tried so far at breakfast, may also be possible. The ship charges for drinks in their bars are slightly expensive. A 20% service charge will be added and unfortunately if you are in Spanish, Brazilian, Italian, waters then the ship adds in the local government tax. We spent 11 days on Marina in Brazilian waters earlier this year and they added a 23% tax. On day 2 the Captain greets you with a 2 hour open bar. This includes cocktails but not premium liquor such as single malts. Also as a repeat Oceania cruiser you will get another 2 hour open bar from the Oceania club team, later on in your cruise. Oceania are generous with allowing passengers to bring on board alcohol to consume in your staterooms. In total , if you like to drink, then the Oceania Simply More is fair and a good package. Finally, you can upgrade the Simply More to access the premium wines and Spirits but the daily rate is expensive, I think usd 39 per day per person.

We spoke in summer 2023 to the Captain of the Marina and asked if the November 2023 refurbishments are still going ahead? We are booked to join Marina November 20th and wanted to see the upgrades. Unfortunately the Captain said the refurbishments have been delayed until May 2024
