Most of the major the Cruise Blogs, radios, news and such are dependent on invites from Cruise Lines. So do not count on any bad press.

They got rid of it on both Getaway and Breakaway. Replaced it with nothing.
A shame that the old mini golf area is not used for anything.

In Spain and spanish waters you also need to pay taxes when dining, also on the dining package. It can add up quite a bit since the taxes are based on the a la carte menu prices.
A few cocktails, maybe a bottle of wine and four dishes in Le Bistro...
Weird thing is that some bartenders told us that is was only a couple of cents per drink. That was not really true all the times.
My bill ended up at around $250 in spanish taxes, three persons, premium plus package. Three Spanish ports.
In some bars the staff anounced that we had left Spanish waters, and no more taxes. People were cheering and running to the bars.

I am at the Vibe on the Breakaway right now, enjoying the last afternoon on a pretty descent cruise. Hope you will enjoy the Breakaway!
The ship is in good shape, the food outside the buffet is great. Please, do avoid guest relations and cruisenext and I am sure you will love your cruise in this perfect cruise weather. Have never seem the oceanfront as busy as on this cruise.

Ketel One Seltzer are available, and at least two other brands, that I'm not 100% on, at the moment.

I belive the pictures attached above are from the public area just outside of Vibe. The Vibe is on the other side of the Wall on the lower picture.

I just bought Vibe passes for the first time, on the Breakaway. How is the selection in the bar? I also have the premium plus package, I would guess they have more of the plus drinks than Spice and The Pool bars.
Thanks for any input!

Same for me. If you keep looking it will appear eventually. Just to dissapear again.
It does appear more often in the app than on the website.

I actually am quite sure it still is considered a package.

I actually just booked two separate dinners at Le Bistro at the same time on the web site. First and final evening. 15 nights, if that matters.

Epic the ship possible fact - learned from a random couple that had been on the Epic when it was new. The builder of this ship built one…. Then went bankrupt. So the Epic is literally a one-of-kind design and unique. Granted the newer boats since then have ship design figured out better then the Epic so it’s not really a “NCL designs their boats strange thing”….just the nature of shipbuilding.
(The shipyard is very much still alive. They build basically all of the new MSC Ships, and some of the newer Royal/Celebrity ships. Including Wonder of the Seas.
If my memory is correct I belive that NCL chosed to cancel to cancel Epic #2 by themself.)
Thank you for the updates! I will be on the Epic in April. So looking for all new info I can get. Great review.

No finger foods at all in the Top Sail Lounge? That is a huge nummer, in that case.
Thanks for the update, hope you have a great time!

I, for one, hope that these new menus will be rolled out to the entire fleet shortly.
Anyone heard anything?

I see the NCL literature now excludes what they are coining as "Connoisseur Collection" beverages from it's premium plus upgrade package. This term is added in addition to the already noted flights and "experiences" so I'm wondering what the heck this is now.
anyone how knowledge of what a connoisseur collection beverage is?
(I'm going to look at other posts and threads and probably ask this question in other places that I think it may get noticed as well)
Some Remy Martin cognacs, for example. I belive They carry Louis XIII, They cost several thousands of dollars per bottle. They have it in the Whisky bara, at least on some ships.

I am sure they will cut the number of cabin stewards a lot. Maybe change their working days, 9-8 or something. And clean maybe 60-70% more rooms per person. On turnaround days people with other duties will help.
On my last cruise I declined the turndown service more than half of the days. But that was my choice.
With all the changes, in particular the P+ package, and the prices they charge these days I will stick to All Inclusive resorts in the near future. Excellence or Secrets.
I have one cruise on the Epic booked and one on MSC yacht club (a steal!) The next few months. But then I think there will be a few year until the next one. Which is a shame. Since I love cruising.

I have been on four cruises with the Premium Plus package. The two first were in the very beginning, when they just had introduced it, once on Getaway and once on Bliss. You could get anything at almost any bar. The last two, Getaway and Epic was really so so. Not worth it, for me, if they dont deliver what they say in the PR.
I just got of a Celebrity Cruise. No issues with the Premium package there.

I was on MSC in september. Yacht club. You can not beat the bang for the buck. Great service from embarktion to debarkation. If you go MSC, go yscht club. You will not regret it. Do not go regular MSC, that, you will regret.

I would choose the Baltics also but would wait till St P is open again.
I agree about the Baltics. But there is no chance that St Petersburg will be an option until, earliest, 2026, I would guess.

I'd skip Ocean Blue.
Would probably pick Le Bistro x 2, once at Teppanyaki and probably one in La Cucina.
Imo, Teppanyaki gas the best fillet on the ship. Weird, I know.

According to the web site you get to order for a value of $30 if you use the dining package at Sushi on Five, seems like a bad deal, since most (all?) of the packages will cost you more than 30/meal.

The European costumer laws are very strict. The price you see, should be the price you pay. No hidden fees.
Like it or not.
I like it.
