For the last time I am aware of regulations, my original post should have made that quite clear. The one thing that was different was that when I went to my account page the new posting about vaccines and required testing. Granted I have no problem with being cautious, as IΒ stated I had not had my morning coffee as of yet and that was the main purpose of my post. Early morning it just struck me wrong, just like people who read something and don't bother to understand. That is about all I have to say on the matter, happy safe sailing

If you take the time to read my post. I stated that I just had this come up on my account page it was not there two days ago. Just letting people know it might be wise to look at your upcoming cruises. Yes I am quite aware of what is required just saying this is a new prompt added to cruise info.

Was checking on our Sept. Alaska cruise from Seattle, when I went to my account a new page came up. It now appears that even if fully vaccinated they are now requiring a covid test before boarding. More hoops will this madness ever end, excuse my rant just to early and have not had my coffee yet.

Dispute the charge with your credit card provider.

Thanks to all who replied to my inquiry, this will help us decide if we fly into Montral or Quebec. Was there a choice for hotels given to you by Princess?
-
Has anyone had flown into Montral via E Z air had a Princess transfer from airport to hotel? Then transfer from hotel to Quebec next morningΒ in order to board the ship. Any pros or cons appreciated, also which hotel did they put you in and were you given a choice. If you so desire cost of transfer and hotel would be appreciated.

My last post evidently was lost in cyberspace. We sail from Quebec Oct. 21 this year, the ship over nights Oct. 20th in port. We have a choice of two flights from Nebraska on the 20th into Quebec One arrives at 5:30Β pm the other at 7:pm. was informed we could still get a transfer from the airport, then have until 11:30 that night to board. This came from Princess when we booked the cruise. We could possibly fly in on the 19th but this will not be convenient for us. Will be following up further with Princess, just wodering if anyone else has run into spmething like this.

Have a cruise that starts in Quebec the ship will be there overnite on Oct. 20/ 1922. It will not sail until 5PM on the 21st. Flying from Nebraska we have a choice of arriving at either 5:pm or 7:pm on either the 19th or 20th. Arriving on the evening of the 20th were work out better for us. When I booked this I was told by Princess that we could board up until 11:30 the evening of the 20th, and there would be a transfer available from the airport to the ship. My question is there anyone else who has done this in the past and had no unforseen problems. I intend to reach out and talk to someone at Princess a second time, thought maybe I could get a suitable answer from someone on CC. Yes I have located hotels for the 19th if I have to fly in then, but would rather not.

Recently on the Eurodam we were one floor up from R H L which is under pool deck. Several mornings we heard abit of noise from above but not enough to be a bother. Had one night out of 17 that we noticed some movement and shaking. Being so close to the Lido it made an early morning trip to get coffee very fast. The nice thing is that this balcony is completely covered the others you can see down into them abit. One morning wife came back from stepping out on to the balcony, said when she looked over a man one deck down was standing at the rail in all his glory.Β π

I was told at customer service that Holland has bad wifi service compaered to others. This was included in out pkg. was tols I would be given credit HA, HA.

As far as I am aware, no such thing on Princess ships.
Quite right thought I was on Holland . trying to figure out how to delete.

If you and your partner like to dine at a table for two and enjoy abit of privacy. When making a reservation ask if you could be seated at the Honeymoon table this is on the Eurodam not sure about other ships. These are located way to the front in the corner of dining room, one on each side. We made use of them several times also a few years ago when we sailed on the Eurodam.. The staff knew we were just joking about a Honeymoon but one evening about six of the servers at the front started cheering and clapping, that made for a good way to start the night off.

Princess is not really known for their towel animals, so it won't be much to miss.
Perhaps I was thinking of Holland after all it has been several years. All in all it was a good two weeks, good to be back on the water. Now on to Holland for 17 days and a chance to make a few more sarcastic remarks it is always fun to see what kind of respose you can get from people.ππ

Are you for real? A towel animal and a chocolate is "the good old days"?
Some of us are not picky and easy to please.

One more day left before we reach FLL,it has been a great cruise after being landlocked by the pandemic. It is a nice ship very friendly crew, entertainment somewhat lacking. First two nights of a two week cruise a comedian and a comedian magician. The first nightΒ people were walking out after the first ten minutes the other IMO not any better. The Rock Opera one night was good. The food let me say we never went hungry, there sems to have been some cutbacks and changes made tho. Reflecting on that subject well you can't please everyone.
Β
Β For those who are planning a cruise and thinking back to the good old days, there are no more towel animals also sorely missed the nightly chocolate on your pillow. Guess we should just be happy to be cruising again. As for sip and mask, if you are having a drink or eating very few people observed this with no problem. Now on to Holland Dec 5thfor 17 days this should put us home sometime Christmas day. Wishing all a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and joyful cruising.

Most servers will let you put two drinks on at a time.

We did the Tulum and beach club tour. Weather was great at Tulum, very impressive site. Our guide whose Mayan name was IG Pop did a fantastic job of filling us in on the history of the Mayan people and the site which the correct name is Sama I believe. The stop at the Beach club was ok, a great lunch of Fajitas and fruit and salad. They said the water was bathtub warm. It started to rain just as we left. The (singer slash musician) left something to be desired. I guess if you are not that good just play loud. We were the last on the ship it made for a long day. After visiting Mayan sites three of the last four days I believe we have now visited just about all the sites in the region, with the exception of a couple. Time to pack and prepare for our 17 days on the Eurodam starting Sunday.

Most jokes are offensive somewhat to somebody, somewhere but that does not mean we can have jokes. If it wasn't for jokes there wouldn't be any comedians on the ships.π

@wowzz you beat me to it.
To many people have extremely thin skins now days. Unless it is down right mean, just roll with it and get over it.π

Did you order more?
No with what came with the rest of the meal and two dinner rolls that was enough. My point being if you advertise something make sure the customer received what is stated.

Anyone else disappointed in the 51-60 count shrimp they advertise as jumbo. Scallops were not much bigger than a bay scallop. Two shrimp and four tiny scallops, had trouble finding them on my plate. The shrimp this size is what we use for catfish bait back home.
