I contacted my guy at NCL to request him to submit for a FCC due to price drop on studio, after final payment.  Since then, the balcony price has dropped to below what I originally paid for the studio.

Will they let me upgrade to the balcony? 

How does that affect my request for FCC?

Will they still honor original request, and let me pay difference (lowest studio price to balcony)?

I put a call into my guy Friday, but apparently he was off..and he doesn't work weekends.

It would be nice to know what my options are before I talk to him

I think what they are saying is that you can't use a statement that is 90 days old.  I use the most recent one (last month) or get a print out of current standings of stock.  So my statement is usually 1 to 30 days old.  No problem using it.

As long as you are able to submit a statement, showing # shares, and with your name on it, it should be ok.  Note, the shareholder credit is per stateroom.. If you are both sailing in the room, it will be just one obc., same as if you are sailing solo.  You won't both get the full obc.

If one person does it, they will need to know about the financial aspect of the sail and sign account...Is it all going on one credit card, or is everyone responsible for their own charges.  Also, if they are using a passport, will need that information.

You should be able to book it once on board the ship.

The NCL Epic is docking in Barcelona, port of call...

My question is, Is the nearest Metro within walking distance?  or is there a shuttle available?

I just plan to walk around, or take the metro to different areas...and I do not know if I can get there by walking, or do I need another way?

I was on the Epic in 2019, leaving from Barcelona, but I took a cab from my hotel to the ship at the time.  I do not know if it is easily accessable via foot.

I called to have my milestone credit applied to my upcoming cruise...The lady I spoke with  said that she filled out the request to send to the proper department, and that the credit should show up about a week before the cruise..

I  was wondering if this was normal...

Will it show up on my documents? 

Will they send me an email confirmation?

I don't want to show up on the ship, and it not be there.

I am actually inquiring for a friend who will be travelling on the same cruise as me.  I told her to check with her doctor/pharmacist to find out about the requirements of the insulin.  I will pass this info on to her.

Which rooms have the mini fridge in them on the Epic?

I know that the balconies do, but what about the studios or insides?

If there is NOT one in the room, can one be requested for medical reasons (insulin)?

Just stop by Guest Services and they will apply the gift cards to your account.  Keep the cards, just in case (do not throw away).  You do not have to do it right away, you can wait until the crowd dies down.

The teenager that jumped was not on a cruise ship...it was a pirate ship in the Bahamas...like an excursion ship..

I always go to gs on the last night and get a paper print out of my statement..and look it over.  It is easier to catch and correct errors before the last morning. 

I have the choice of 3 different ships, Epic, Viva and Prima.

I have been on the Epic before, but not the other 2.

Can you please give me your opinion on these ships?

The dock is near a metro stop. It is about 3 or 4 stops, changing lines mid way, to get to city center.   Easy to access.

I have never sailed on Princess, but have on other lines.

I have some questions,  am thinking of booking the Ruby.

1.  Is the upgrade to plus a good deal?

2.  What is the premium deserts?

3. What is the medallion experience?

My last request, I sent in on 8/3, then again on 8/30.  Finally got the approval on 10/1. For 11/28 sailing.

A few years back, booked the day before the cruise...Nothing like telling the hubby (went solo) and last minute packing...lol

I am arriving in December.  How is the metro or bus travelling from the airport to the Rossio area?

How much is the fare?

I know that arranging a car or taking a taxi might be quicker, but more expensive.

I enjoy taking the local transport.
