Hawaii, Waimea Canyon, on the island of Kauai

Correct USA Hawaii, Kauai, Waimea Canyon..   Sure is..  Quite spectacular, as a mini GC,  in that, with clouds moving across where the sun-shine is, the colour changes are hypnotising..

    All yours qbay46.

THANKS... Thats good...  Hi again team !!   (We hope this doesn't become a habit before we can get moving again)..  We are at an age where  virtual travel  could become real..  Years of  time are not on our side.

    TRY THIS ONE..

What country are we visiting, and where/what is this place?

Kiel Canal in Germany approaching the Hochdonn High Bridge

BINGO !!!    Got it in one. Have done the transit 4 times, and wonderful to be sailing through the country-side amongst cows etc.  Tourists camping along the banks, folk on bridges, and resident householders along the way gather to watch when passenger ships make the 8-9 hour trip.

    Over to you boeckli

    Fakarava?

Fakarava it IS  ....  AND THE WINNER IS    " ILIKEANSWERS "

We joined the Norwegian Jewel repo for its first Australian season  in 2017, which was a 39 night journey from Vancouver.   We had done many crossings with RCI, (each about 28 nights), but when we found this NCL itinerary, we had the pleasure of getting to see the Islands in the Tuamotu Islands Archipelago and the Marquesas Islands, as well as the usual suspects incl Samoa etc.  Highly recommend..

Over to you    ilikeanswers   - all yours..

  5. MORE CLUES!!!  ----  It's further East in South Pacific  than any of the "warm" answers stabbed at so far. (In fact several hundred KMs further)  (Previously clues said very few ships do Trans Pacifics via here, and that the photo includes an NCL ship). This was taken in 2017.

Each post gets warmer... It is in French Polynesia... But where??

  7. All done easily for us, just 2 weeks ago. We  qualified for and opted to  use the "streamlined renewal" option and had no problems.  We also chose to just take our on-line printed forms, and old Passports to P.O. and have them do the photos, so as to save any potential photo problems. Signed documents, paid our money and were out after 10 minutes.. New passports arrived and in our hands 8 days later...

Only problem we have is the pain of not knowing when we will be able to use them, but at least we will be ready to jump..

    O.P's  problem must be a W.A. thing...
