  1. Anyone have a picture of one of the L-shaped rooms....we have 8465 and 8469 and are hoping also that the divider can be opened between us for an even larger balcony....anyone know if it can be?

According to cruise deck plans dot com, 8469 does not have a connection to any other balcony 8465's balcony partion connects to 8461.

    You can check here: http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/Carnival/fleet/dream/CabinDescriptions/DRverandah8.html

  2. Do we have any more info on the Dream Class 1As yet? I see that 2211 has a twin and convertible sofa and portholes, and we're pretty sure 2217 is the same. Any details on any of the other ones?

Considering Breeze next year while she's in Europe and since we're in port pretty much every day I'm thinking we can go w/ the cheapest possible cabin, but don't want one of us to have to climb into a bunk. I'd love to book a PT but the date I think we'd want they are already sold out, but some of the 1As w/ Portholes are still available.

When doing a mock booking for 1A's w/portholes for 2 passengers, when you choose your room there is a description of that room right under it. It says This rooms includes. It will say twin bed and single sofa bed, it could also say twin bed and one upper pullman.

  3. Thanks everyone!!!! :D Keep the info comin!! I'd love to see some ship (both inside and out) and cove balcony (if you've got em) pics as well!! :D If anyone has the Eastern itinerary Fun Times, that'd be great too!!!! :D

Does anyone know if it's noisey at night (and for how long during the night) under the galley that's inbetween the 2 main dining rooms? That's where our Cove Balcony is (2393) and I'm wondering if I made a mistake booking that cabin and if I should call Carnival (the cruise was booked through their website) and try to change our cabin to a different Cove Balcony.

OMG, I'm sooooooooooooooooo excited for this cruise, :D it seems like it's forever away!!!! :( It'll probably feel like it's gonna take forever to get here as well, haha!!!!

I can't tell you for sure if it will be noisy in your cabin at night. I have read where people have been under the galley and never heard anything and others who have heard loud bangs. I imagine that there are workers in the galley getting things ready in the middle of the night. When I was on a tour of the galley in the morning they were already getting things ready for the evening meal. They do serve breakfast in the aft dining room in the morning so food is probably being prepared in the early morning hours (like 3 or 4 am). For this reason alone we decided not to book under the galley but booked a cove under the middle dining room. Dinner is done by 10:30-11pm and breakfast is not served there. Plus the Dining Room is carpeted.

  4. We were on the Valor in 2007. My son and I got to our room that first afternoon and found the beds together. He might be a Mr. and I might be a Mrs. but we sure aren't a Mr. and Mrs. So he went to find the cabin steward to separate the beds. When he came back he said he couldn't find the the cabin steward but he found someone else. In the door walked Richard Simmons. He gave me a hug and asked me if I knew how to ice down a butt since he had fallen a few days before the cruise and was still in pain.

We also saw him again when leaving. He was standing outside his cabin on the same deck as we were on. He was there on one of his "Cruise to Lose". Other than that we didn't see him during the cruise.
