Awesome! You are going to have a blast on Oasis! They are our favorite class of ship in the fleet.  Unless there is a storm Oasis should handle fine. That time is still early enough in Hurricane Season you probably don’t have to worry.  There have been quite a few moderate swells on our trip but only a bit of rolling have we felt.  
 

Our cabin is in the back of deck 13 which is not ideal as a lower and more central cabin location will reduce motion felt.

We have lovingly nicknamed our cabin the Dr Suess Suite because of the creaking and motion.

”Our cabin Shimmys and shakes and might I say Quakes with the motion of the ocean” in our Dr. Suess voice 😂

Heading over to the island shortly…

Take a stroll through the Solarium with me.. almost an unplanned sea day so lots of use in there and the pool deck..

There was a thread a couple weeks ago about D+ access to the Concierge Lounge on Anthem.  A Royal flyer said it was open again but that the Anthem Concierge said D+ were not allowed back in at present.  Have you dropped by or been able to confirm whether D+ can go back in or is it just Suites and Pinnacles?

I have not checked and will have to find the Concierge Lounge to check. I will either later today or one of the two seadays so check back.

Good Morning Cruise Critic’s, welcome to day 4 of Semi-Live from Anthem of the Seas..

Well we are more than half way through the week, welcome to hump day..😆

Retired a bit early last night, and up early today with excitement for Coco Cay!!

Took our morning coffee stroll and found the Diamond Lounge..

Have used our 5 daily drinks provided to D+ cruisers and that has covered our needs..

You can grab snacks and drinks/coffee at the Diamond Lounge throughout the day at various times…

Plenty of seating available this early not so much later in the day….

Good Evening Critics,

An update on early this evening, after Vintages we had dinner in Jamies and it was excellent, however or waiter had a large table and was scattershot so in the confusion I failed pictures.

Tomato Bruschetta was a 5 Fork Appetizer 

Spicy Prawn Pasta was nice but Shrimp were non-existent but pasta and sauce were perfect 3.5 Forks

Eggplant Parm main was piping hot and very good, but make note if the waiter does not inform you that the eggplant is not fried nor breaded, just baked soft eggplant with cheese and Sauce, which I thought was good but Mrs. S would not like and anyone expecting a fried piece of eggplant might also.

3 Forks (flavor was phenomenal)

After dinner we hurried to our reservation at 270 for Spectra Caberet which we enjoyed and have a few snippets here-

After the show we strolled the outside promenade on deck 5 and saw the NCL Getaway lit up in the early evening.

Then stopped by La patisserie fir a cafe mocha 

Menu snd Confirmation that any size specialty coffee larger than standard is two punches on the coffee card- 

Chocolate Texas Tea being made-

Along with some goodies on offer that we had to resist… it hurt and was difficult but my waist line let out a huge sigh when we decline the pastries..

We are retiring early so we are well rested for our beach day tomorrow at Coco Cay!!

This cruise is our relaxation cruise, not much beyond enjoying the beautiful sunshine and much warmer temps today. Sadly that makes for an uninspired report but the recharge of the batteries is working!!

Pool was way busier and full not long after this snap from earlier today..

More stairwell are.. where our cabin is located we need decent sneakers as we are blowing past 5 miles a day walking just back to our cabin 😆

or maybe we’re eating to many of these 😳

We usually shy away from buffets but we heard they are serving you and not self service so we gave the famous… or infamous… Windjammer Marketplace a try for breakfast today…

Family indoor pool area is quiet this morning but the hot tubs are seeing early use..

Lots if kids and families in here during the day.. did not cross our minds but this is definitely a spring break week as there are more families with children than we might have expected. Kids do not bother us 😆 as long as they are someone elses 😳

Will have to stop here at the pool bar for a drink later to test it out…. It’s what a good reporter would do to make sure it’s good 😊

The Pub was crowded last night, decent guitarist.   They have some good bar bites too!   Have to get the poutaine, yummm😃

We did not go to the show in the Royal Theater. We make plans and then always end up doing something else on a whim .

We figured it was good as it always seems crowded starting about noon.. poutine sounds good with a nice pint!!
