We did cave tubing and jungle ATV with them (butts up!) and they were fantastic. I believe I wore sport sandals with Velcro. I may have a video I can check and see... I do recommend the company.

ok. I could get down with tea. Coffee rips my stomach up.

I hope you all have assumed that it is killing me that I can't fix the title. My ipad is on the fritz.
I am enjoying and appreciating the discussion; thanks for the added information.
I did not work in insurance today, as I remembered we are going camping tomorrow! Lots to do.
Please keep adding information! I really appreciate it.

Thanks, everyone for the input. I'm going to try allianz today.

Our cruise is slightly less than 1 year out and no shore excursions and no FTTF available yet.
-
Ok. Thanks. I had to call carnival and I guess since the cruise is about a year out, FTTF has not been released yet. Excursions haven't been released yet.
Thanks.

I accidentally screwed my PVP out of a booking when I booked online, thinking it would automatically go to her. It didn't.
Anyway, does anyone know how to book FTTF through the website?

Lol coffee pot.

Thank you. I guess I never noticed the 48 hour part

I know. I wondered if our old policies had this, but I do read the fine print and I do not recall seeing this before.
Let me ask you this: do you cover only the cruise price, the cruise price with the tips included, or the cruise, tips and excursions? DH asked this tonight and I wasn't sure. I usually do just the cost of the cruise: not sure if there is any benefit to doing the other amounts?
Thanks!

Personally we prefer Fantasy class, so we think smaller is better. Just throwing that out there.

I'm a big believer in trip insurance, and I always purchase it. I decline it through Carnival and I buy it through Insure my trip.
I was working on this tonight and I noticed that all the plans I compared only cover 50-75% of trip coverage and the fine print says "certain conditions must be met."
One of those conditions for cancel for any reson is "trip cannot be cancelled within 2 days of departure."
I don't recall this last time we purchased insurance.
The live chat rep said this rider is the largest risk for the underwriter because most trips are cancelled for unforseen illness, injury or death. He said the "within 2 day" specification is industry standard.
Does anyone have any clue if Carnival's inaurance has this spec? I will call tomorrow, but just wanted to throw it out there and ask of anyone knows of a plan that covers cancel up to day of trip?
Thanks!!

Thanks to those who checked the inventory for me.
Darn, now I'm wondering if I should switch cabins (can I do that?). I'm at least going to go look at it on the deck map again.
-
Great, now if they can fix the loyalty levels so those of us who spend 5k on cabins each cruise can get something other than blue or red status... That would be nice.
-
Oh, well, that's interestng feedback. I never really thought of convenience.
I booked a different cabin though. I'll keep it in mind for next time. Thanks.

What occupancy?
When I select 2 people I see many available mid-deck 7. When I change it to 4 people I only see 1 available mid-deck 7.
Looking at the front of deck 7, I seen only 2 cabins available at occupancy 4 but many at occupancy 2.
Yes, that one mid deck is in (I think) the worst location-- is it the one by the elevator banks right where you will hear all the noise?
-
ok, yes, my occupancy is 4

I did a mock booking and those are the only choices showing. Well, I'm glad I booked last night.

Hi, Peeps! I usually don't book a cruise around a year out so I was kinda surprised to find out there are only 3 ocean suites available and all are forward!
Do you think they only showed me what is available for my VFIP or for the sale that is going on? Or do you think there are really only 3 ocean suites left?
Curious, thanks.

Well, several of us forgot to put it on airplane mode and so we racked up 100.00 of offshore data charges before ATT turned off data roaming automatically (thank goodness).
Put it on airplane mode!!!!

We had a great time. The smoothest ride yet (we like a little boat movement). We boarded at 1 p.m. And had zero wait time (we were vip with a suite but the regular line had no wait as well).
I personally found the buffet food lacking (hard to find "something good") but the dining room was very good. (Surf + turf for 20.00 up charge)
We did the chef's table and HIGHLY recommend it. 7 courses and tour of the galley plus champagne and wine. The galley is immaculate, orgainzed and efficient : very well run.
DH and son did the behind the fun tour and recommend it too.
The service was excellent all around.
We did the twister boat in cozumel with a beach break at passion island, recommend this as well. (Carmival excursion)
Any elation questions?
