  1. There is a new wireless, maskless CPAP on the market. Ask your doctor about this for traveling. I just saw the article about it today.

    Just a thought.

It isnt on the market. It is a semi-tested, not FDA approved (or whatever)l no clinical trials (or whatever) and no studies (or whatever) device some nano technology dude wants Crowd sourced funding for to attempt to being to market.

It takes new batteries EVERY 8 hours. So if you have long sleep syndrome in addition to apnea, you are out of luck.

I also have small nasal anatomy and thus cannot wear any nasal devices. I have only worn a full face mask for 6 months.

His nasal device is interesting... But plenty of hurdles to overcome before it comes to market.

I applaud anyone trying to think outside of the box....

  2. Yea, i was having so much fun and on such a good run at the casino last time that I told DH I was going to tea and went to the casino again lol. I went from zero points to free drinks in one afternoon, so I think I probably lost in the end but I had a ton of fun while playing.

(It wasn't 20 bucks a day.) no free cruise yet though...

I get the casino rate now.

  3. I actually did buy trip insurance for a quick one person trip to Maine for a long weekend to visit a friend. I believe I paid something like $19.00 for it through insuremytrip.

My flight had mechanical issues and was delayed. We landed in Atlanta at 11:30 p.m. And they gave us a voucher for a motel 6. As a single woman traveling alone, I wanted a hotel that did not have doors which open to the outside.

Delta booked me at the Sheraton for 69.00. Then my second flight only got me go Boston, so I had to take a shuttle bus (25.00) to New Hampshire, where my friend picked me up.

So to the poster on page 1 who said he never gets insurance when traveling in the US-- I do! Every little bit helps these days with expenses.

  4. Your getting some misinformation from some well intended people here.

Come on over to the Cruise Insurance forum here on the Cruise Critic board

    http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=635

You'll learn more about travel insurance than you ever wanted.

Please elaborate specifically on what the misinformation in rather that (or in addition to) referring us to a specific board. Thanks for that, but I found no mis information and I have used travel insurance for years and have had to make claims.

I can't find any misinformation. Do tell.

    Thanks.
