My DOU in casino offer only good for me, not my cabin mate. I have been given free cruises from land casino for NCL, companion got DOU. Either depends on offer or cruise line.

We did the Fulton Place rooftop parking on our last cruise. I found the employees helpful and don't have any complaints. The rooftop parking price was excellent.
For our hotel we stayed at the Hilton Riverside. We were only there one night pre-cruise. It was fine. It is very close to the cruise terminal - you could walk to it.
I use their roof top parking too. Less expensive and my car sits outside at home.

We just got off the Glory in New Orleans yesterday. We were to meet at 7:15. Got there at 7:05, walking off ship at 7:10. Was in my car headed home by 7:30. It worked great for us
How was Glory capacity wise? Going Feb. 20th. I'm more interested in boarding times than disembarking.

If you like cranberry juice and champagne, get a Poinsettia

How does one get upgraded? Do they call or send a email or do you have to request? Also can you ask for a upgrade while on the ship? We have a terrible interior cabin in the front of the ship currently.
Saw ours on cruise manager page, upgrade was for a fee.

Got offered an upgrade too, but we have balcony cabin next to family. Darn family!😆
Glad you could take advantage of it.

You can use it to buy stuff at the Fun Ships and excursions ahead but if you want to use the gift card onboard, yes you need to wait until you are onboard. Onboard accounts are not opened until you are onboard
Thanks for reply

I received a CCL online gift card. Do I need to wait until check-in is available to load it to my account? Can't remember or find answer on CCL website.

I have a question about CCL cruise protection package. I (primary cruiser) along with my sister, who was added before final payment, would like to get CCL's insurance. Problem is that it won't let me get it for just myself, we've split cost of cruise. Is it like Cheers, where both adults in cabin need to purchase?

I am holding out on my 2/26 Panorama Cruise. Perhaps it wont be crowded.
Was just thinking that about our February 20 cruise!

We were assigned to a group table on our September cruise and were dismayed to find out that one of the women at our table was unvaxxed and on the ship using a "religious exemption" (she put the words in air quotes as she told us and laughed.) We didn't go back after that. I was surprised that Carnival would do that.
I'm vaxxed, so are all adults in my family. That being said, vaxxed can pass on Covid just as easily as unvaxxed. Vaccine doesn't stop it, just hopefully makes symptoms less severe.

Thanks for the Live, enjoy your Sunday.

I am my moms shopper but she can manage by herself. ..but I know what you mean. It's why I dont book any longer cruises myself, my folks. Cant go too far I cant get home fast. My father passed and we buried him tuesday, so now it's just her, but it was a issue for me as well.
Wish I would get that $200 offer now though. Now I feel like I can be gone that far. Been booking close to home.
So sorry for your loss.

The further North we go, it's getting quite a bit cooler outside. I still haven't found the usual television somewhere that shows where we are. I've ripped this room apart, and there is no television remote here. I better not get a bill in the mail next week accusing me of taking it. At least the safe works. On my Virgin Voyages cruise, the safe was never operable the entire time. I finally gave up on having them look at it.
ask room steward if he saw it

Which date? I see one in 2022 and 1 in 2023. For $200 I'd go too.
believe it was 2022, but I'm my mom's caregiver, hard to get coverage for that amount of time.

WOW, wish I could go. Just checked my offers, $200 for interior with $200 OBC! Sadly I can't just take off whenever I like.😪

You can request your own table, but as others have said, some tables right on top of each other.

There's nothing else like embarkation day... People will push an old lady out of the way to get on the ship one minute before someone else...
How many old ladies did you take out? lol

I just booked this for our Cruise on December 5th....Was wondering why it was only 12 per day seems very cheep. Could have sworn it was like 20 per day
It is an older building, but it does the job. If you're not worried about your car out in the weather (I park outside at home) uncovered rooftop parking only $10 a day.

When I've driven to N.O. I park Fulton, no problems there so far. My brother pays twice the rate to park at cruise port block or so away, he has more money than I do. LOL
Have always taken shuttle due to others with me, but could easily walk it with luggage.

I took OBC when my 2020 cruise cancelled. Casino offer went from $500 OBC to $650 when rebooked. That's going to be my gambling money.

You can always order beer, wine, liquor to be delivered to your cabin.

We just had check-in for our 2/20/22 cruise this past weekend, it asked if we wanted to be apart of it. Sailing out of N.O. btw.
