Last Cruise I am Platinum and partner is not, I got mine good for Breakfast Lunch or Brunch and they got theirs for the last evening after 5pm. That was Aug 20th.

What is their reasoning for the platinum drink only in the dining room and gold can be anywhere? Seems backwards to me.

It was the worse drill I ever attended on the paradise. Not sure what the issue was but hopefully it was a one time thing. Loved the ship and crew. My kids loved Ryan that did the karaoke and deck activities.

I agree with your post. So many started saying suicide and did anyone know the reason at the time? Once on the Oasis teen girls were sitting up on the railing at the back of the ship above the diving show. I immediately went to find security. It gives me chills thinking about it now. Sorry to hear your connection to the gal and prayers for comfort to all affected.

If anyone has recently cruised on the Magic out of Canaveral, what time did self assist start? I know there are variables that can change the time. I'm trying to decide on a time frame for my transportation to pick me up.

I cruise Carnival 2 or 3 times a year. I don't play much in the casino but it sounds like I'm really missing out/messing up. There's a lot of info given o here but I don't understand all the abbreviations. I think I need to start hanging out and playing slots.

There was a BBQ area already on sea days on a lower deck promenade.

We have had five in a cabin on the Magic and it was just fine for us. We are rarely in the cabin. I would prefer two cruises instead of two cabins.

I cruise on Carnival all the time, never get any special offers or free cruises! But I don't gamble-maybe I need to. Why would they offer me free anything if I'm a great paying customer...? You should really figure out how to take that free cruise! [emoji41]

Sounds great! Thank you for all the details. Splendor is 8 day with unique islands compared to the 7 day on the Magic to the islands I've been to many times. For myself I want the 8 day but I know my granddaughter, 10 years old would enjoy the extra deck fun with her mom except the sky course, she didn't like that before. Decisions decisions.

I've cruised the Magic and I love it. The decor is bright and there are many outside activities. How does the Splendor compare? I've read it's in a class of its own.
