This may be a little "out there" but have you considered doing it in port? I became dehydrated on our Mediterranean cruise last year, passed out in Santorini and was taken to the emergency room. Blood test, EKG, saline IV and electrolyte IV only cost about $400.

They also have an Aspen coffee. Espresso Kalua baileys and Francgelico. Topped with whipped cream. 😋
Aspen coffee wasn't available on our last cruise. It wasn't even on the menu.

The MDR on Oceania's website show wine pairing at dinner. Does it work with Simply More drinks?

I have always been able to fill my private tours via CC. Most often end up having to turn people away.
This is my personal experience, fwiw. I book tours and advertise them on CC Roll Calls. The 3 cruises booked to every cruise taken rule lives and breathes. After Final Payment date, I’m always scrambling to fill my tours, but always do. Notice all the Oceania constant sales, a lot of folks don’t book until six months prior to sailing and are eager to sign up for private tours. One very good fellow Oceania cruiser doesn’t even advertise his tours until after FPDate. He claims he bypasses all the lookie loos and still fills his private tours with fewer problems .
I wouldn’t worry about the status of tours 9+ months out. Come final payment and the lookie loos bail, availability often follows. Also, unless you’re one of those that really needs Oceania to hold your hand if/when you leave the ship, try browsing your Roll Call right here on Cruise Critic. Opportunity awaits! 🥂
thank you

When I've used Spain Day Tours in the past it wasn't my obligation to fill their tour. We just booked with them and then went on the tour.
For the 89 euro tour, they want at least 12 people. If anyone else from our cruise signs up, they'll add them to the tour but they suggested that I post it to let people know about the tour. We can book a tour for just the 2 of us but it would cost 495 euros each.

Get on the Roll Call for your cruise and let people know of the availability. Sometimes these private tours really snowball.
MauibabesI have but we only have 5 people on our Roll Call

We're on a TA next year that visits Granada. We wanted to visit the Alhambra but the ship's excursion is sold out (11 months out). I found an private excursion with Spain Day Tour that is a small group and only 35% the cost of Oceania. Now I need to get 12 other people to join us and we're good to go.

Once upon a time, it was not uncommon for soufflé to be the “surprise” dessert available in the MDR. There was a Grand Marnier version and a chocolate version. Haven’t seen it in the main dining room in a long time.
We had a surprise souffle on our last cruise. We had already had dessert and heard the waiter tell the people at the next table about the souffle. We've never had two desserts before but cruising is all about new experiences. Right?

What it the subject? I don't get Captains Club emails anymore because once their crappy system stops sending CC emails their incompetent IT can't or won't restart them.
Me either. I get marketing emails but not Captains Club. I emailed them and asked to have this fixed, they said the did and still nothing.

Ok….I could see where they could have different protocol between internal reps and outside TA.
All I wanted to do was book an excursion.

Their rep? So they transferred internally to another Oceania person?
Exactly

I guess what I find odd is the O rep said you need to call your TA. We have a TA and every time we have booked excursions they were always handled by us making a direct call to O. It was always handled extremely efficient.
The last time I called about an excursion, they passed the call to my "Travel Advisor" (their rep).

This is the correct action. If you didn't cancel a booking, or even have one then why in the world would you open the obviously scam email? I realize that spam can look really legit now, but still.
As I said, mine was regarding reservations. I had booked excursions a few days before I got the email.

Based on the posts there are 3 or 4 "subject lines" being used in these fishing attacks. Cancelation/Help/Website etc...
Bottom line is the are all phishing/spam
Then they're poorly done since they lead to a missing folder page.

. Putting the word "cancellation" in the subject line likely causes more people to open the email out of fear of being subject to that well publicized incident
Mine had nothing to do with cancellation. Mine said help their reservation process.

No, it doesn't look fake. Just bad IT

We were booked in an accessible cabin for our TA next April. We've been booked for a long time but it's been bothering me that we may be taking the accessible cabin from someone who really needs it. About a month ago, I emailed our O rep and told him we'd be happy to swap if someone had a need for the cabin. Within a few days, he upgraded us to the next level cabin. Win/win!

Does the problem happening on any platform? PC, tablet or smartphone?
If not, try update the operating system platform and the Chrome app.
For PC: Settings -> Update & Security. Launch Chrome browser, clcik on the 3 dots at top right corner, Select Help -> About Chrome. For iOS or Android tablet/smart phone, settings -> about for operating system. Launch App Store or Google Play, verify the chrome app is the latest release
It only happens on Chrome on my PC. My tablet and phone both display it correctly. I do use some extensions so maybe that's the issue.
By the way, my husband checked Celebrity's website to try to help and I can't repeat what he said when he saw the flashing header on the home page. Let's just say he's not a fan.

This has been going on for a loooong time. Don't you suppose that the X "crack" IT team would have fixed this by now? Oh wait.....I answered my own question!
This specific problem has not been going on for a long time. I check my sailing every day and the problem started Friday.
I've cleared my cache, cookies and history and it still doesn't work. What a PITA, now I have to log into all my sites.
-
Is anyone else having problems with the website in Chrome? I can't search or manage my reservation. Either one just loops me back to the home screen, which keeps flashing.

I can see it using Firefox but I can't do sh*t on Chrome. They did something about 4 days ago that broke Chrome.
interlopers on excursion

We had this happen once on an excursion. The guide was busy dealing with a passenger who kept crowding in frot of the others. She was a paying client , not the interloper.
