I think it is always a possibility in spite of careful design. I once saw a woman walk around the bow of a ship sailing into a rather stiff wind. As she rounded the bow the reverse wind hit her and knocked her to the deck and she started to roll. At that point, in the particular ship we were on, the lower portion of the railings were solid metal, but a little further on they were open at the bottom. She rolled awfully close to the open area. So very scary and quick, I have never forgotten.

I thought that too, but my latest contract seems to have deleted that last entry about Pre Paid Crew Appreciation, anyone know what the going rate is?

Just got educated on what Have It All means by gratuities. I thought it meant the daily gratuities charge, but have been told it means the gratuity charge on your liquor charges. Glad I found this out.

Things change to accommodate the newer generations. I miss the gong guy who went about announcing dinner. I miss the classical music (elevator music) that used to be throughout the ship. It seems each voyage changed something and in my estimation not for the better. I am only a three star and will never make four at my age. Things change.

Perhaps this is why I can't get a deposit refund for of the couples that were traveling with us. It really worries me as I have five other deposits for those of us still planning to sail. Is CCL in such dangerous shape that they don't have the resources to even return deposits? Kind of scary to think about full payment time if they are not able to refund deposits. Can't get an answer from HAL, they will not talk to me, only to my TA and they don't even anwer her messages.
