Since there is no Sorrento's on Adventure will I be able to get a slice of pizza anytime? If so, where at?
-
You do get 2 drinks, they were quite good. Small factors compared to Capt Morgy down the road. The tour was more about history, wood barrels, and 2 free drinks
Thank you, sounds neat. We are renting a car as well. Any other highlights of the island we should hit?

The final four and nat'l championship are on TBS this year instead of CBS so not sure if that makes a difference or not. The masters will be on the weekend we sail so hoping that will be on somewhere so I can catch the leaderboard. That will be on CBS.

St Thomas is great, we go there for jewelry. Grenada was nice, nutmeg spray really does work for pain. Rest are very overwhelming with desperate taxi drivers. We did not do any excursions so can't tell what is beyond the port cities. We did the Cruzin rum on our own.
I'm assuming this is the Cruzan Rum on St. Croix? We plan on going there in less than 2 weeks. Tell me what you thought of it and what kind of drinks are included in the cost to get in? I think you get 2 drinks with your admission.

They could probably save some $$ if they got rid of the California and Kitty Kat cams which are a waste.

Leaving for SJ PR, first southern Caribbean cruise on AOS, first aft balcony, celebrating my bday and our 30th wedding anniversary. It doesn't get much better now does it?
Have a great time. We are on Adventure in 2 weeks also celebrating our 20th anniversary also with an aft cabin. What cabin # is yours?

Johnny Rockets was our favorite. Basic, nothing fancy but very good.

Go outside on deck 4, head forward, up some stairs, continue forward to the helipad.
The helipad is open to guests virtually all the time. I've seen it closed when they feel the conditions are unsafe.
Thank you Bob, we will be sure to go out there.

We LOVED going to the helicopter pad. At port, it was a great vantage port to see the islands and watch people coming back to the ship. It was really great to sit out there at night and see all of the stars. There was hardly anyone ever there.
We also really enjoyed the Duck and Dog Pub. Have fun!
On what deck can we access the helipad? Can we go out there anytime or just in port? I know on Oasis we were only allowed to go out there during the C&A invite which my son loved. But this time no kids.

Great replies guys. We will have to try all of these. Getting excited.

Having a refreshing adult beverage outside the pub on the Royal Promenade.
Yes I spent a quite a bit of time there on our only other cruise on this ship in 2006. They usually have a good musician in there too don't they? Sorry, it's been 10 years hard to remember from ship to ship.

We will be on Adventure in 19 days. Besides your balcony where is your favorite spot to do well anything? Could be people watch, have a drink, look at the sea or anything.

Much to my surprise I have managed to book cabin 9390 on Navigator of the Seas on Oct 22nd.Never having managed to book an aft cabin before what is it like?
We have 9390 on Adventure in 3 weeks. I'll let you know, I'm sure it's identical to Navigator as they are sisters.

We are on the first sailing with Dan Whitney. How is he as a cruise director? I don't really follow cruise directors but I was just curious about him.

We had a 10am flight home for our April cruise from SJU. About a month ago I changed it till 2pm. I told dw I just wouldn't be able to enjoy my cruise stressing over this one day. I will be much more relaxed now.

We live an hour north of Baltimore in Southern PA and my kids' last day is June 1st. Most schools in our county are done around this time.

Anyone have any recent experience with using Sprint on the islands? We are on Adventure and will be leaving from San Juan and going to St. Croix, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Martinique and Barbados.

Ok, good advice. I will do that. I just wish all the ships would get the freestyle machines. It would make life much easier.

So let me get this straight. If I purchase the soda package only (not any alcohol packages) can I go up to a bar or at dinner in the MDR and get a sprite zero with just showing my card? If I have to buy a sprite zero even with the package there is no sense in me buying it because that is all I drink. Do not like Diet Coke.

I printed out compasses from someone on the exact itinerary as we are doing in April. On day 5 there was a listing as Margarita Madness. Is it some kind of special price or something on Margaritas or maybe BOGO? My wife loves them.

Hello fellow Cruisers!
I will be in port in St. Maarten in April and would love to take a day trip over to Anguilla.
I'm reading that it can be done and is well worth it to see the beaches there. I'm excited to see the powdery white sand and clear aquarium water I keep reading so much about
I'll be on Celebrity and it does not appear they offer a beach day excursion going over there.
Anyone got a good excursion company they can recommend, that ferry's you over there for a beach day ?
Has any one done this and have some good advice as to the quickest way to get to the ferry and then to Shoal Bay ?
Or does anyone have just some advice and their experience to share doing this?
Thank you all so much for your time!!!
Erica J.
My wife and I plan on doing this in 8 weeks for the day on our own with no tour company. It will be a tight schedule but we are following this post which was very helpful in our planning. It is quite old so the prices are not the same but schedule wise it should be the same with the ferries running times. Go down to post #20.

While we are on the subject I have a question about the webcams. You used to be able to click a symbol and the screen got bigger but can't do it anymore. Anybody else notice this?

Entry fee for the Boatyard is $15USD per person and includes one chair per person and a shared umbrella. It also includes one drink (you choose from a list of specific drinks, beer, soda or water). You can also use all the facilities including bathrooms, showers and water toys. The ride back to the ship is also included and they do runs every 10-15 minutes. While at the beach you will be approached by vendors with everything from jet-ski rides to swimming with the turtles. Don't pay anything over $20 per person for the turtles. If you get someone that quotes you a higher price stand your ground. If he won't do it for $20, someone else will.
What would be a reasonable price for a jet ski rental here? It would me my dw and myself but would probably ride together. I don't think she would want to do it herself. Also is there parasailing?
Pizza on Adventure?

Cool, thanks. Not a big pizza eater but every now and again I get a craving for a slice. Good to know I can get a slice if I need to. No, don't like it for breakfast but my wife does and she can eat it cold too. Not me.
