  1. Thanks Peterde. I thought I had the only app without a “safety” icon. I’m sure someone will chime in with where the D-3 muster station is. It’s not as if I was told that I’m leaving out of a different port!
  2. No. It’s the 2025 sailing. Everything I have says Cape Liberty (Bayonne NJ)
  3. Thanks. Safety hasn’t appeared yet. I have plenty of time! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  4. You say it’s two years like it’s a long time…16 days and we lost one of the years. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank goodness you solved the round tomato debacle! I have a family cruise coming up on Royal, and I’m just having a ball researching unknowns. Thank you all for your responses…now if I can just find out if that bartender is still in the martini bar! Happy sailing, Happy holidays and stay well!
  5. I’ve read that answer on other venues. I don’t know if it is because the cruise is so far off, but i don’t get the safety icon on the bottom of the app yet. I’ll try refreshing. Thank you!
  6. Good Evening All, I just booked my D.W. and I on the Silhouette for 2025. I really don’t like booking that far out but I wanted a Sunset Veranda (similar to our cruise on Equinox), and the ship is leaving out of Cape Liberty, all pluses for us. Now the first of my questions…can someone please tell me where muster station D-3 is located? I would also appreciate any insight anyone has on the Silhouette. Thanks for reading my thread!
  7. My DW, and my family have cruised on Explorer three times and wouldn’t hesitate to board her tomorrow. Don’t let someone else’s experience cloud your decision. People complain because they have a mouth. Make the cruise the best you’ve ever taken. Explorer has a lot to offer. Happy sailing!
  8. Hello to all, Does anyone have any insight as to why Port Canaveral is being removed from the Anthem cruise at the end of October? My daughter in law has a small family cruise booked and they just received notice that Port Canaveral is gone. Thanks in advance for any information.
  9. I am not one of those that will say, because I don’t like it, it shouldn’t be there. If it’s warranted, go for it. Not for me at all. I’m still wondering how all the Mexican food took over! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 p.s…..my kids and grandkids love Mexican. Not my wife and I! Happy sailing!
  10. I’m diamond (not that that matters, just for reference), and absolutely every time I enter my Crown and Anchor numbers for my wife and I, it says the numbers aren’t recognized. I’ve had those numbers for years. I then call the Crown and Anchor loyalty number and have them repeat the numbers they have (the exact same as I’ve entered). It’s a flaw, but it isn’t helping them. I’ve searched many cruises that I was interested in and wanted to know what my cruise total would be with my loyalty status and I couldn’t get it to take. I’ve tried logging in, erasing the numbers, reentering the numbers, only to have the same thing happen. As long as you get credit for the nights sailed, I guess it’s not that big a deal! Happy sailing!
  11. We do a family cruise (our kids and grandkids) every couple of years. The kids know what time their mother and I go to breakfast. They can join us, or not. The only thing I want is to have dinner together. At dinner, we are updated as to which grandchild will be with us for the next day so the older ones can do things with their parents. It is everyone’s vacation. They all do loads of things on their own. Coming from a family of 145 just from my maternal grandparents, I’ve found that the only time we had to force activities on the kids was in a place where there wasn’t much going on. I’ve NEVER booked a cruise for a family vacation on a ship that nothing was going on. Next family cruise is Symphony! Happy sailing!
  12. Can someone please tell me the maximum number of seats that fit around the Hibachi on the Symphony of the Seas? We want to have a family dinner if there is enough room.
  13. Hi All, I booked a cruise for my d.w. and I, along with two of the grandkids for 2024. A couple questions for those in the know. 1.) Onboard the Symphony, is there a smoking side? I thought I read something about the pool deck having a side rather then an area. 2.). I was able to book deck ten, 208. Any comments concerning this cabin? The kids are going to be 15 and 8. Brother and sister. Thanks for your help!
  14. Welsh Tiger…from South Wales. Well that gives me an area, but where exactly do your cruise ships cruise from? You know better how to run a multi-billion pound company then all those great folks at Royal Caribbean. You see, in America, if we disagree with the conduct of a business, we may suggest constructive changes. Not act like an imbecile about how Royal Caribbean is damaging you personally. Your mouth, and more importantly your business will not change Royal Caribbean in the least. As they say Mr. Tiger…”these boards don’t constitute an airport, you don’t have to announce your departure…just go!” If you are so displeased with Royal, cruise with Carnival or some other discount line. I’ll have you know, I read your ridiculous thread this morning and passed it three times, going with the adage…if you don’t have something nice to say…but I felt I had to add my two cents to your tantrum. P.S. I just got off a New Years cruise on Anthem of the Seas and we couldn’t find anything wrong with the ship, the food, the service, and the entertainment. You obviously don’t want to hear that, it takes away from your tirade!
  15. I absolutely enjoyed your exploits onboard the Anthem for the Atlantic crossing. I’ve been on Anthem four times and you made it possible to look for more adventures! Safe journey on your return to Canada! I hope to be able to “catch up” with another live review by you! Best, John
  16. So, I’m not sure if you are being a comedian or this affects you in some way? How many of those grouchy old cantankerous folks that you mentioned are the reason you sail? It’s like reading for the millionth time about wearing shorts in the dining room on formal night, who cares? If that’s the way you were raised, or if that’s where life has taken you, so what? When I’m cruising, I am in my happy place! Nothing some other passenger does will affect me. Enjoy life, enjoy sailing, enjoy yourself! Just my humble opinion.
  17. Hi All, Do any of you seasoned cruisers have any insight into the tribute band during the NYE sailing? Some of you may have sailed recently and have heard who is staying aboard. If anyone can point me to a place I can research this question, I’d appreciate it! Thanks! It would probably be a good idea to tell you what ship I mean. Anthem of the Seas. Thanks again!
  18. One year we traveled out of Baltimore and took our luggage with us. We piled it in the area reserved for wheelchairs. If there are no chairs, you are good to go.
  19. Thanks for the information. I didn’t go far enough on the app to see Coco Cay. Found it. Now I’m really glad I booked this venue!
  20. I’m sure this is a slim chance but, does anyone have the menu for the Beach Club at Coco Cay? I’m not sailing for six months and I’m just researching different options. I googled the eatery and only got pictures. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thanks! Happy sailing!
  21. As many of you do, I follow a few different threads from Royal Caribbean cruises on Facebook. I read from a woman that they were canceling their cruise because Royal Caribbean requires booster shots to cruise. I have attempted to verify this fact and cannot. I’d really rather not get into anyones opinion on this subject unless it is verified in fact. Has anyone heard of this accusation? Thanks for your help in clearing this up! Happy sailing!
