I'm planning on buying a Citizen watch on my next cruise. They were much cheaper on the ship than I've been able to find them online, by a good amount.
On the ships they're Sitizen watches ;)

I've sailed with Consuela twice from San Diego on the Spirit. She's a lovely lady who will stop to chat with passengers who approach her when she's out and about on deck. She puts nervous guests who are performing at Superstar Live at ease so they can give it their all. Consuela always demonstrates sincere hospitality and class. Thanks for sharing the video, Jim. :)

Oh good. I am not the only one who misread that. A Springer show would be quite the entertainment venue though. talk about a theme cruise!!

That's a great idea, with Jerry moderating the Healdites from us common folk. ;)

One of the people that died on the ship was right across the hall from me. They cleaned the room thoroughly and the next day there was a new couple in the room. I guess news of an upgrade went out.
Ya snooze, ya lose.

Thanks for the report!

I prefer 4122 myself but watch your curtains, you never know when the crew will be working outside your doors!

I sailed Jubilee February of '91 for that itinerary out of San Pedro.

I was so tickled to hear there is afternoon tea.:) I truly enjoy the slow pace and "special" fare of tea time. While I love tea with the sweets I also enjoy a glass of wine with the savory offerings. Will I need to bring a glass with me or can I order when I arrive.
Tea time is often held in a lounge where a nearby bar is available for you to order a glass of wine and take to your table. On ships where the tea will be served in the dining room I suggest you bring a glass of wine with you.

I like tea time on the Carnival cruises to the Mexican Riviera when the sea days tend to be chilly. Going inside to warm up with hot tea and those great finger sandwiches and desserts is a nice lift until it's time for dinner. :)

Just put ice in a glass and pour your soda over it!
You funny Americans!

If you are using it only for stateroom storage then pack a large trashbag as well and just use it as a liner. That should take care of any leaking worries.
I used a kitchen size bag in my cooler recently and it worked great and the steward worked with the liner like he had done it many times before. No leaks.

I've never had the samen, but yes, the food is better on Carnival.
And although the layout of the WJ is better, the food is the same stuff every day, and quite boring, as well as bland. The buffet on the Spirit class vessels has some of the best variety at sea, as well as tasty. The Chinese, the daily Taste of Nations, as well as the delicious deli just completes the experience.
There is also more availability of food on Carnival during the "off" hours. On RCCL, your only option is the Cafe Promenade, which basically is cold finger sandwiches and Ellios type supermarket pizza. If you want fresh burgers and such, there's always Johnny Rockets for a charge.
That being said, we never went hungry on the ExOS. There was always something to chose from the menu (but I did leave my food twice on one sailing, as the Turkey and the Lobster were horrid).
You're so right, I never went hungry either.

There was one New Year's cruise where a tsunami hit the ship, flipped it upside down, and a rag-tag group of us had to make our way "up" to the hull of the ship to escape.
But other than that, no disasters.
Preacher! You took away from me the only thing I ever loved, my Linda!!
Would you buy jewelry on a Carnival Ship?
