  1. Sorry about no Comfort Class. I guess they changed what they provide. When we booked with them in 2019, they directly booked it for us. We also had them arrange transport of our luggage directly to the hotel. It is a beautiful ride on trains, boat and bus. You will love it.
  2. Contact Fjord Tours. They booked the whole one day Norway in a Nutshell trip for us a few years ago. Be sure to tell them to book Comfort Class
  3. That sounds crazy. Look at the flights from your airport to FLL. Then call back with the flights best for you and ask for a supervisor. If no luck, then book on your own.
  4. Maybe contact Christopher Elliot. He has a staff that deal with theses types of issues. Also try the Ombudsman from Condé Nast Traveler magazine. There is no charge for their services. good luck. Sorry that happened to you. That is a lot of money to lose. Those voucher things caused problems for a lot of people.
  5. This almost happened to us in December at the Miami airport. Our AA agent for our flight to Santiago started asking us lots of questions. She told us we needed several forms completed before she would check us in. These forms all were required for travel to EasterIsland. She wanted the name of our hotel, all kinds of info. We were going to Easter Island a few days later, not directly. She was very unreasonable and insisted we needed them, while we insisted we did not, as our tour guide was handling all that. After a long back and forth, she went to talk to a supervisor (which we had asked for several times). She was gone for 20 minutes. She finally returned and said, well you don’t have to have them done now, but you will-later. And made some snide comment about she knew something we would need done and we would find out after we got to Chile. We were so aggravated that I never got her name, as I would have reported her. Luckily we were there very early so we did not miss the flight. Recently on another site, I read another traveling toChile had the same issue at a different airport. There is something not clear in the AAregs about travel to Santiago.

He helps out with travel problems. You can also just contact Elliot directly from the website. Sorry I could not figure out how to post a photo of the contacts. It includes Torsten too. also Condé Nast has an Ombudsman column for travel problems. Good luck and keep trying.
  7. From Oslo, We did the Norway in a Nutshell train trip. In Komfort Klass, which was so much better than regular. We booked through Fjord Tours. We also booked the Bergen hotel for one night, and a luggage delivery service through them. The bags were at the hotel when we arrived. it was a great trip, with a boat ride from Flam and a bus portion too. Don’t remember the cost but you can check on their site. It is not escorted. Took about 11 hours.
  8. We were in Oslo for Constitution Day. The parades were wonderful. Everyone wears the traditional outfit from their home town. Children parades, adult parades, it was great.
  9. I got a black tote from Baggalini in TJ Max. It is a good size but light. You have to look for it. I finally found it in the the luggage section.
