  1. You .... but the 3rd party policies are generally lower cost and higher coverage. ken

This is true. I just did that with InsureMyTrip and saved $18 but got alot more coverage over what my PVP said was the cost for Carnivals.

I have use InsureMyTrip for overseas trips, luckly nver had to call them but I felt better having it.

  2. WOW let us worry about some more stuff while we are relaxing and vacationing. Lupus,West Nile virus, ebola, swine flu, and chikungunya virus just to name a few. WOW lets not even go outside as we are going to be attaked by killer bees, mosquitoes and butterflies Just stay inside and wear DEET 100% all over your body in case a flea is around. [/color] Darn folks relax and enjoy life.

  3. We have stayed overnight at both the Radisson & Comfot Inn & Suites and to tell the truth both are a zoo in the morning to catcvh teh shuttle to the ship. Both are also wornout hotels and over priced. THis next trip in December we are shooting for the Hampton Inn on the beach as it is a lttle farther away and hopefully not such a zoo on cruising day. The rates are the same but they are remodleing so maybe better.

  4. Back a couple of trips ago out of Jacksonville, I somehow lost/forgot my IPad at security. I remembered about 45 minutes later and went back...no Ipad, no one saw it. Got to CS on the ship to fill out the lost item form and they handed it to me. Some how it had made it to the pool bar and was just setting there when one of the crew turned it into CS. All ended well.

  5. i don't buy fttf to sit in a waiting area. I buy it so that whenever i choose to arrive there is absolutely no wait and my cabin is ready and i can access it through the closed hallway doors. And so i can use the prioroty line at guest services.

And as fast as we get through the process so far our luggage has gotten to the cabin even faster.

I am not sitting on the lido deck feeling special. I am unpacking and exploring long before muster and being very thankful carnival has this option.

  6. Thanks so far for the answers, the wife just said she wants to go down the day before.... so am now looking at staying at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach for the night and just using the shuttle they have to the port and back.

    Any thoughts on that ?

  7. OK where to park at Port Canaveral?

If you are driving down and not spending the night at one of the hotels under the "Stay & Park" special, where is the easiest, fastest, safest and cheapest place to park. Your experiance and review at this would be welcomed.

    Thanks

    in advance
