  1. Canada - do you need a negative COVID test to enter Canada by cruise ship? I was under the impression you only need ArrivCAN, not a test. Please help!
  2. Yes, the Princess policy says this. Look at their web page. No more than 90 days, no less that 10 days recovery. This what I am doing on Saturday. I have printed out the policy to take with me.
  3. You can if you have a positive test document within 90 days of boarding and have recovered and 10 days have gone by. Also, a document from a health authority is good. Go to the Princess website and read the health rules. It's all written there.
  4. It looks like all three are opened. Well, I can and have made a reservation on different nights for all. At the time, I thought it was no big deal to sit with others because I thought Covid would die back down for the summer but now I've changed my mind.
  5. I have reserved my dinner times but some of the nights I had to share a table with other guests. If I show up at a different time, can I request a table for two?
  6. Thanks! I think it'll be a great way to end the cruise.
  7. Hi. Is there a certain route that picks up and come back to Bar Harbor downtown? Thanks.
  8. Both my husband's doc and mine did not care. We called them both when we tested positive. Didn't need to see them. My husband's Dr. did have a tel a visit with him to issue the letter but my dr's office wrote it when I called and asked for it.
  9. Thanks! So much to see. And now we have the New France Festival that weekend, too. Do you know anything about that? I'm assuming it's all in French? I think I want to go see the falls, though.
  10. We did it and it was great. Make sure you leave enough time to get back to the port. Traffic is wicked. We picked a few places to stop that looked interesting but didn't actually go in to any attractions or museums. Walked through the park, and on the Freedom Trail for a little bit and then picked up the bus at the next stop. Just be careful because one time the bus was packed and we couldn't get on. Long wait for an empty bus. Was thinking of doing it again this time but we don't get into port until 12 pm.
  11. There are some cruise lines dropping the requirement on Aug 1 but US and Canada ports are not included. https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/norwegian-cruise-line-drop-requirement-covid-19-test-86314116
  12. I have read the policy over and over again. It does say a positive test OR a letter of recovery so you should be fine if you get the letter. We had Covid so we are doing this now. Of course, my doctor's letter has my name misspelled. And it's not signed but has the Doctor's office name stamped on it. I hoping the positive test will be enough.
  13. I have antigen tests scheduled, currently still free. Well, they bill our insurance. I'm getting home tests soon in the mail shortly so we can do a precheck. Sail on July 23.
  14. I've read this many, many times. According to this, all I need is printed documents of our positive tests. It's still a huge gamble and it's making me sweat. We qualify for all these things. I just need some reassurance from someone who is actually done it. I'm making everyone around me crazy. It sucked getting Covid but for this I can use it to my advantage (no other testing...)
  15. I wish I could find out from someone 'official' or someone who has done this. I have the tests. Working on the letters which I think I'll get anyway. Sigh. The whole thing is one big headache.
  16. I know. It's driving me crazy. I figured I'd do both to be safe. I also signed us up for a antigen test because that might be the easier course of action.
  17. I have the opposite problem. I have positive tests but still waiting for doctors to write notes. They are on vacation! Princess guidelines say ' a positive test OR a letter from a medical professional'.... Can my son who is a nurse write us a letter, I wonder? It doesn't specify a doctor.
  18. We walked to the park from Pan Pacific. It was a nice walk but loooooong. Then we saw the carriage ride and did that. I enjoyed the carriage ride. We stopped at the totem poles. It was a nice way to see the park. We then walked back to the Weston and got a taxi back to the Pan Pacific. I don't know anything about the Brew Pub.
  19. Oh, man, a charge for the cheese plate? I love getting them for the balcony.
  20. If you had Covid and recovered within 90 days of cruise, does it matter which test you tested positive with as long as it was medically observed? I have print outs of our positive antigen tests. Also, did you have the positive test results AND a Dr. note? Princess guidelines are unclear and it sounds like you only need the positive test paper. Thanks.
  21. Not mobile impaired but find it slow and difficult to walk long distances. Hills are not my friend. My husband usually walks ten steps ahead of me because I'm so slow and I can't keep up with him. I do like narration and history and I would like to see the Falls. Maybe one day on the bus. Thanks.
  22. Never heard about it when we were there on Celebrity. This time we are on Princess and arriving around 11 AM. Did the HoHo bus last time. Looking for something more casual this time.
  23. We dock in Quebec at 1 PM and will stay over night on the ship. I'm looking for a short tour on the day we dock to get an over view of the city. Any suggestions? I was reading about the hop on hop off bus. They have a two day option. I was trying to figure out if I can get on the bus close to port. I couldn't find a good map of the route. Has anyone done this one? There's a bunch of loops and offer of a boat tour that are all included in the two days. Thanks.
  24. Never mind. I think I found the answer below. Thanks. How do I delete a post?
