I am enjoying your comparison .  We had two wonderful weeks on Ascent.  We are sorry we did not get to meet you also.

We just debarked Ascent after a B2B. Two of the best cruises we have had in the Caribbean in a long while. 😊

We hope you have a great cruise. If it is half as nice as the January 14th and 21st cruises, I believe you will be very pleased. 😊

We have been on Ascent for two sailings. We have been in a Magic Carpet Sky Suite. 
 

We have been very pleased with the suite, with the butler, with the room attendant, and with the food in Luminae,  and in the specialty restaurants. 😊

A couple of pictures of some wine. I had some of the Paso Robles. It was very good, IMO.

That has been the norm. We have never been this fortunate. We will probably never be this fortunate again. 

Oh my, another bottle of wine showed up in our room. 😳

That sounds like a Carmenere. Historically it was used much like Petite Verdot in Bordeaux as the 1% or so portion of the blend.

I tried it last evening. It is not the type wine I would normally enjoy. 
 

It has a lot of spicy, peppery taste. I usually like the wines that have a black cherry or plumb enhanced.  I am definitely not a wine expert. 
 

But, I did enjoy the Carmenere. I might have some more later today. 😁

 Neither.  They were gifts from the butler and Captain’s Club. They have been very nice to us.

Have not drank the Carmenere yet. But, the Yangarra was excellent.

The only cruise we have booked for 2025 is Hawaii to Sydney. 😊

They did. But, I have not seen waffles lately. 

We are currently on Ascent.  The ship is beautiful. The food is very good. The service is the best in quite a few cruises. 😊
