Last night we enjoyed the American Diner event on the pool deck. The deck was decorated with a diner sign, pictures of milkshakes, pictures of 45s (records) and a diner backdrop for photos. Here are some photos..... Menu..... Appetizers from the On The Table in the menu above..... New Yorker Hot Dog..... Key Lime Pie..... There was music from the 50's and 60's.

Thank you @admranger ! I'm not sure this thread is epic and I do appreciate your comment! 😁 We've never stayed in anything larger than a Veranda suite so I can't help you there. However, if it's only the closet space that is the issue, you could request a hanging bar over the tub and a platform for shoes covering the tub. That is the configuration we requested via our travel agent to Silversea Guest Services. It works beautifully for us. There is a photo on this thread of the set up. You might search in this topic for "hanging bar".

Today is a sea day. Are you getting bored yet? 😅 Tonight we are going to the American Diner event on the Pool Deck. Reservations are required. The description of the event ......"Join us for an authentic American Diner event and enjoy famous staples of American cuisine and a tasty Milkshake Bar in an entertaining vintage atmosphere. The musical entertainment will reflect our "time travel" and you will have the pleasure to listen to some of the classic songs of the 50's and 60's era. We are looking forward to seeing you in vintage attire and have fun! I'm planning on wearing a shin length blue dress with white socks and white sneakers. Myster will probably wear black jeans and a white t-shirt. Should be great fun.

Yes! You are correct. I think the plan is to hold another "Crossing the Equator" event on the way back across the Pacific.

King Neptune held court on the pool deck early this afternoon. It was the best "Crossing the Equator" event we've ever seen! Moss Hill was awesome as the Emcee. The dude in the role of King Neptune did an incredible job! Well done lads and lasses! We didn't take photos. The pool deck was very crowded.

We were there. However, if you want to find us we're usually on the pool deck in the morning around 10:30 am on the starboard side towards the back corner.

Today is a sea day. We have been informed that Christmas Island is no longer on the itinerary. Due to recent fluctuating weather conditions leading to unusually lower tide levels and a build-up of sand in the channel which gives access to the landing pier, it is not safe for tender use. We are now heading to Apia for February 1st and 2nd. January 29th, 30th and 31st will be sea days.

We crossed the International Dateline. It is now 8:25 am Saturday January 27th. Yesterday, Myster and I went to a Premium Wine Tasting. This was a fee event in La Dame ($200 pp). The red wine glass at the extreme right in the picture is Penfolds Grange 2010. It was spectacular.

The pool deck was hopping at lunch today. Beautiful weather, fairly calm seas! The joy of cruising! 😁
