There are no elevators at the aft of the S class cruises 😕
Obviously I meant "the most aft" as opposed to forward. Most people would realize that 😊

Has anyone noticed quite a lot of vibration on Silhouette? It isn't terrible but wondering if another location is better next cruise. We're near aft elevators on 9.

According to Captains Club hostess there have been no new passenger cases and only a couple of crew cases on this cruise. So this is consistent with the lack of announcements from the Captain. This is day 7.

Are any future cruisers concerned that these promises made when we booked are no longer being fulfilled?
Their actual policy says "if needed" in regard to private transportation home. I'm not sure if that was always on there but it has been at least since last summer and well prior to any final payment dates.

I have a feeling that right now people on the next sailing (1/24) are getting the Mask mandate info, but those of us on later cruises are not. Would make sense since Celebrity said that this would be reviewed on a weekly basis when it was implemented on the 1/4 (I think) cruise.
Could be. I really don't know. I got a notice on 1/9, 1/10, and a few days ago but they don't say which sailing. We are on 1/24 and 2/4. All of them say masks are required. I'll have mine on either way.

Very good. Excellent guest entertainers including Chelsea Coyne. Tonight is the return of the production shows.
I hear you have a new CD too. Should be very good.

I just received a prepare to cruise email from celebrity. No mention of masks and it says there is a hVAC air purifying system on board so all air will be clean filtered and pure. Is this a new development ?
The one I got today does say masks are required.

Not quite as many as they might if they had a full crew on the Activities Staff, but there are two trivia, another game like Scattegories or TriBond, a couple of Name That Tune, and more, so yes they are doing games. In the evening they have done Yes/No and various other games too.
Awesome!!!

Are they having many games such as Trivia, Scattergories, TRI Bond, Etc?

Are mask required while onboard and inside? I just read a post from Apex post that said mask are required on their sailing. Saw nothing on Celebrity web site under health protocols about mask.
As a result of increased COVID-19 cases associated with the Omicron variant, masks will be required for all guests (regardless of vaccination status,) at all times indoors except while eating or drinking. Note that this policy is currently in effect and will be re-evaluated on a continuous basis.

Cruisestitch, I was on the Silhouette last week with you. Don’t argue with the lurkers! I was in my same cabin ~ end of rant~ no questions please
Hope you are doing well and still had a great cruise.

Have a great cruise. We'd appreciate updates once in a while. We're supposed to be B2B on the 24th and 2nd so are still a tiny bit unsure about the first one. Just don't want to test positive and get banned from the second one 🤪

Yes they are blacking out cabins and there’s pretty much no way to know how many.
Some they are keeping empty. And some they are blacking out for use as quarantine and isolation cabins.
As an example,On silhouette right now all of the rooms on deck three are unavailable. The corridors are blocked off and you cannot get from the front elevator to guest relations on deck three. One is kept for crew, one is kept for passenger
Does this mean all quarantined/isolated guests are on Deck 3? I've followed some guests on other ships that were in balconies so just wonder how that is working on Silhouette.

What expiration dates have you had on recent purchases from E Med or Optum?

Have a great cruise. Will be following along as we get ready to board on the 24th.

Thats risky to passengers on either lines
They just let the virus move freely.
I my need to cancel my February cruise.
I don't understand your reasoning at all.
However, if you feel that you should cancel then you should.

Currently in “pending and expired” purgatory for Anthem 1/20, waiting for the charge to hit and email to arrive. Booked a 2D balcony and currently pending for a JS at $350pp, with all other bids expired. Hope I don’t have to wait til tomorrow for confirmation, lol
Good luck. Hope it comes through. A couple of months ago I had 3 bids Pending and they stayed that way. Did not get a denial until 24 hours after sailing🤪 On the next cruise it was accepted several days in advance. It's a bit like a mystery game.

Sorry your cruise is not as planned. Thank you for the posts.
Can you please verify if the ship has made all of her ports? Do you know if ship's excursions we're required? I'm pretty sure that is a yes and a no but would like most current info.
Thank you

Good luck with your testing. This question may be too late - are they still offering testing for persons who are doing almost B2B, leaving this ship and getting on another Celebrity ship within the testing window? We leave Silhouette on the 4th and board Reflection on the 5th. We do have a backup test, JIC.
Yes, they are.

Does anyone have a current Spa menu for Silhouette?

My eDocs for Feb 4 just show “Port Everglades” with no terminal listed.I also don’t see it in my app or on Set Sail pass, but I may have looked in the wrong place. Guess Celebrity is just being consistently inconsistent, as usual. Not a big issue if they provide proper signage at the Port.
Interesting. I don't see on my EDocs either. It's normally there. Sorry about that.
On the App it's on the blue bar right above all the onboard options. Says "Welcome Aboard" and there is an arrow to click.

Couldn't find the answer on Celebrity's site and figured I would get the answer much quicker here than calling Celebrity Customer Service. Is the final payment due date back to 90 days or still at 60 days??
Thanks in advance for your replies!
I believe 60 through March and then back to 90.

I wouldn't mind using the FCC within a year, but the clock should start when we receive the email with the FCC in it. Especially when it can take from 6 weeks to months to receive the FCC. It's a poor business approach to state that the customer has a max of a year to use the FCC, but you get it weeks/months after qualifying for it.
You (or your travel agent) can call them if you have a cruise you want to go ahead and apply it to. I just did that this morning.

Straws/Paper or Plastic ???
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I've never been a fan of paper straws but have no problem with the ones on Silhouette. I drink frozen drinks pretty slowly but haven't had one disintegrate or stick to my lips. Much better than previous ones we've had so I am happy to use them
