  1. Thank you for all your recommendations for the Riverside Hotel. Based on all the positive comments, I have just reserved our room for 2 nights prior to our cruise in February. This hotel looks amazing & I am looking forward to our stay.
  2. I am currently booked at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale for 2 nights pre-cruise in February 2022. After reading several negative reviews, I am considering cancelling and booking the Riverside Hotel. I am wondering if there are any stores close to the Riverside where I can pick up some wine & other last minute necessities. Any other suggestions on nearby attractions would also be appreciated. Thank you.
  3. We have stayed at Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport South as well as Hyatt House Fort Lauderdale Airport Soith & Cruise Port in Dania Beach . They both have 2 bedroom suites.
  4. I have booked Hyatt Place through Value Trips in the past, but their website only includes dates through 12/31/2021. I am booked on a cruise in 2022 & am hoping to book through Value Trips again. Has anyone been able to book through Value Trips recently, or have they gone out of business due to the pandemic?
  5. Do you have any pictures of the angled balcony in C409? We are booked in R409 on the Enchanted & I haven’t been able to find any pictures of the angled balcony. Thank you.
  6. Southwest just extended the expiration date for travel funds as follows: Travel Funds Extension Policy* With the unprecedented cancellations and airport closings happening around us every day, we understand travel plans are changing for many Customers. So, we are making a temporary exception to our already very flexible travel funds policy. As you know, our current policy outlines that nonrefundable tickets not flown on the travel date, but canceled in accordance with Southwest’s No Show Policy, can be applied to future travel up to one year from the original purchase date, but must be used by the individual named on the ticket. In recognition of the current travel environment, we are extending the expiration date of some travel funds: Customers’ funds that have expired or will expire between March 1-May 31, 2020, will now expire June 30, 2021 Any newly created travel fund because of a flight cancellation between March 1-May 31, 2020, will have an expiration date of June 30, 2021 It will take our Technology Teams a few weeks to make these changes to the expiration date of the funds, and we appreciate your patience while our Teams work quickly to make this happen. This gesture of goodwill gives Customers an additional year to use their funds and take the same trip next year as they were planning to take this year.

  8. Thank you for the comments. Looks like we will be staying at Hyatt Place!
  9. I am in the process of booking our pre-cruise hotel for our cruise in November and have narrowed it down to two: Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port and the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port. For those who have stayed at either hotel which one would you choose and why?
