  1. That is what I always , I been finding Celebrity All inclusive pricing to be pretty good deals lately I have 2 cruise book in 2023 , a spring and fall transatlantic, at $135 CAD pp, with drinks , tips , Wi-Fi and taxes , one with $500 OBC and the other with$710 OBC our TA has had some very good group pricing
  2. The service fee for an up coming 21 day cruise for 2 is $860.00 CAD , doesnt appear so trivial amount They should just pay the staff a living wage to start with People can tip if they want to
  3. I find it is best to keep up with changing technology or you will left behind you don’t need to latest equipment, but it has to be useable to run the latest operating systems
  4. I wonder why they increased the services fees to the guest in steerage by $1.50 but if you’re in a suite it is only $1 🤔
  5. “When you are there, can you confirm and report back if they really have true air consitioning or typical Scandinavian style "air cooling" which is basically an electronic ventilation system (allowing you to change temperature of the room by couple of degrees but not remove humidity)” After spending 30 years in adjusting airflow in building , I have never seen a system that cools without Dehumidification, it could be bring in outside air into the space if it the outside air is cooler than the inside air. if I remember I will take a look
  6. Here is a Canadian site https://go.thryv.com/site/k2q6ed2636ugwa6e/online-scheduling?_ga=2.130269583.1407099215.1659140947-1626766269.1659140946 also head over the Canadian section a lot of info there
  7. I copied and pasted a section of the edoc for a August 28 , 2022 Voyager of seas cruise I do not mined paying the gratuities( service fees 😁) I was surprised when I read that
  8. In FAQ , The automatic service gratuity is $14.50 USD per person, per day for guests in Junior Suites and below, or $17.50 USD per person, per day for guests in Grand Suites
  9. RCL call them a gratuities, but you are correct it is service fee
  10. Funny how the guest in steerage pay $1.50 more but Suites increase is only $1 🤔🙄 in Canadian dollars for 2 it is $54
  11. Reading the edocs for our August 28 cruises, I don’t remember the announcement about the increase Gratuities A $16.00 per guest, per day gratuity will automatically be added to each guest’s SeaPass® account for our dining, bar & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants and other hotel services teams who work behind the scenes to give you the best possible cruise experience. Suite guests will see a $18.50 daily gratuity. Guests who prepaid gratuities prior to boarding their cruise will not see a daily charge onboard. An 18% gratuity is also automatically added to beverages, room service, and the mini bar. Beverage gratuities are pooled and shared by various dining and beverage service staff. An 18% gratuity is also automatically added to spa and salon purchases. Gratuities for other service personnel are at your discretion. *Guests who booked prior to July 15, 2022 can pre-pay gratuities before their sailing at the previous rates, which are $14.50 for standard staterooms and $17.50 for suites.
