We have been in 1406 on Freedom and loved it. Junior suite with huge private and QUIET balcony. No noise from the Windjammer at all. No noise from people in the hall. Fantastic! Only negative.....the lack of a sea breeze like you get from side balconies. Wish they had installed ceiling fans!

I've always said....it's the terminal that was guaranteed to be ready for Quantum....they never said anything about the garage...
-
Camera is now facing the proposed parking garage area. Not sure if this is on accident or purpose. Could be they did it on purpose to show viewers the garage assembly or to get the view away from something proprietary with the terminal... Or it could be on accident and maybe a seagull flew into it and moved it?!

They did this with Quantum too. Was on the 9 day EX itinerary via the dock schedule only to be changed out with the Liberty. The only thing this confirms is a place at the dock every two weeks. Doesn't guarantee it will be Anthem or that Bermuda will dredge. Just that Royal will continue to sail out of NJ or the foreseeable future.

Yep, I was one of those curious. Thanks for the picture! It's hard for me to get a sense of scale, but the wrap-around looks pretty spacious, which I'm happy about. The more pictures I see, though, the more disappointed I am that my SGS is on deck 7, as it seems like the life boats will really get in the way of my view from the wrap-around section. Again, hard to tell from the pictures - a lot are taken from below, which I think makes the lifeboats look higher than they really are - but I guess I'll find out soon enough. It was the only SGS at the time i decided to upgrade, so i can't really be choosy. :D
Glad to see the answer here too. We have the JS on Deck 13 and were wondering what was going to be put in between our cabin, which is in that picture Llyod posted and the GS next to us.

FYI. There will be a new process, but you can use the current process now for on-line check-in. I wanted to make certain I will not need to redo everything as I did check-in at least a month ago. I called CS and was told if you have already started or completed the process, you will not need to redo.
That's good news. I just filled it all out the other day too!

I think Lloyd was joking.......or at least I hope so!

I was on EX when the first prop issue occurred. It clipped a reef on the 9 day before our 9 day. They tried to fix in Bermuda and NJ before our cruise. No dice. They ended up going slow on two pods for our 9 day with shorter stops and the same for the following 5 day. Then they replaced the whole prop in St. Thomas on the next 9 day.

Waiting with baited breath.....yawn!

I still see Champagne selections in Gifts & Gear, Onboard, Wine Cellar.
Ha. I see it now. This iPad didn't scroll when I was in gift and gear. Using it out of necessity and not by choice! Thanks for the help!

What happened to being able to order a single bottle of champagne for sail away? With the new booking dashboard, all you can order is packages. Nothing shows up in gifts and gear either. What gives?

Me, too. The first thing I plan to do on board is find the bear! :)
Hard to miss!

This is my feeling as well. I think the Royal Esplanade or whatever it may be called, will use many of the existing Royal Promenade elements from the current Royal Caribbean fleet and expand upon it. I think it will be different, but will have a familiar feeling when you are strolling it.
Agreed.

For the Anthem of the Seas fans. Today's webcam image.
When did they drain the dock? That means the megablocks are welded together.

I hope so, it's been a fun year on here
Almost 300k views!

Updated the webcam image AGAIN. It's almost streaming. :D
Must really be recent since I checked about three hours ago and it was the old one.

Windows to the indoor pool have been opening overnight tonight.
-
Just want to add that a coworker and I have had the live stream up all night while we were working. We saw the engines fire this morning. Roughly 2am so about 8am in Germany.
-
Looks like it's at 12:30 now according to HD1080ide's feed.

I'm up for this! Oh wait....I just got to work! Lucky me!

Roof on both buildings is proceeding quickly. Also, we see a bit more to the left at the moment. Looks like maybe the left wall (in the pic....furthest from the Royal pier, closest to the drydock) of the garage may be starting.
-
Perhaps I missed it before but today I noticed that the Royal Caribbean U.S. website shows a Countdown to Quantum clock as 100 days above its search for a cruise section.
I've never noticed it before. Must be 100 days until the arrival in Cape Liberty... I think that puts it around November 18th or so...
-
That confirms Anthem block 2 is still in the house as well :)
I think someone suggested earlier it might have already moved out..
I suggested it....but...I was semi right...we know there would be no space in front of the Quantum to put a tug with that bridge in place....we also knew there was water in the Quantum dock...
Given that the pic with the tug was taken when the dock was dry and the Quantum seemingly done made one assume that they moved out Anthem, drained the whole dock, removed the bridge, and put the tug down....
What actually happened now that we have the updated photo above, was they filled the Quantum dock half way for some reason, drained it, removed the bridge, and put the tug down between Q and A. I guess the plan is just to float the whole dock and do them simultaneously.

Looks like they are starting on the garage today. Since all the iron framing and roof rafters are up on the terminal(s), they have moved all the heavy equipment to the area on the left if you look at the webcam (http://oxblue.com/open/FitzpatrickNJ/CapeLiberty). Looking closer, you can see backhoe's digging holes already. Likely for the pier footings.

No tags ready for my dec 12 sailing in the set sail but docs aren't ready yet either so no surprise.
